I've rode a few 250's, CBR 600, R1, Shadow 750 and a few other bikes. There is a reason why there 4k and it's because there slow and cheaper built. I was about to get one regardless but even though its just a 250 it's stil considered sport which makes your insurance higher.

A friend of mind bought on of these when the gas prices shot though the roof. I didn't think of it as a serious bike until I rode it this past weekend. Daaaamn! It accelerated very well and I could go almost full throttle on my favorite turns. Tires stuck like glue and I got looks everywhere I went. I'm thinking of adding one of these to my garage now. I almost liked riding it better than my 98 Honda CBR 600.
