  • im so dumb, i didn't get it at all

  • simple, powerfull, eloquent, and strongly moving.

  • coloquem gift antes do you tube

  • Who are the idiots who make all these ignorant, cruel & negative comments? I expect more.

    A beautiful film and remembrance.

  • Make your order now # lushfmlk.info #

  • Comments, like the one on this video, remind me how ignorant people still are. It breaks my heart.

  • Not hatin but this gives zero message...confusing???!!!

  • Crap

  • The loss of human life is a great and tragic loss regardless of the means or the life style. It does not matter who they are, where they're from, Its someones family member, someones best friend, someone that will never share their life with us again. And many lives remain with a void that is only filled with memories of a happier place and time. My thoughts and prayers are extended to anyone who has lost a friend or loved one from cancer or Aids.

  • @hfiosl Alright baby sugar honey.

  • this really wasn't an effective message in my opinion. exterior shots of buildings don't conjure up much compassion. how about some facts about the people

  • @hfiosl Heh, could have fooled me. Remember, offer is on the table sweetheart. You're probably some fat bitch anyway.

  • Who gives a rats ass how anyone who has it contracted it. The fact is, its a dreadful thing and the only hope is in finding a cure! I am a heterosexual myself, but that does not make me imune no more than it makes a homosexual the primary host of choice. Its a damn good thing that Aids dont prey on ignorance as there would be far less stone casting assholes left in the world.

  • @travlr423 and THAT is the point I was trying to make.

  • @flyoverangel Well, your pretty much wasting your time trying to explain any facts to most of the people who make their vain comments on these post. I just hope that they never have to come face to face with it happening to them or one of their loved ones or close friends through any means, but if it does, then, they will find their heart of compassion that any victim and their family and friends deserve.

  • @travlr423 homosexuality is a sexual perversion and a sexual perversion only, it is a form of evil and you must be subjective to it if you are defending it, good luck with it

  • @therockkkkher You need to go back to school and take a class on reading comprehension for Ass Holes. You would think a guy who claims to be an Ex- U.S. Army Sergeant would at the very least have the ability to understand what their reading. And further more, I dont really think the article is about who is gay and who is not, It's relates to something of much greater value, Human Life! Your Life must be pretty pathetic and boring to just troll around looking for someone to criticize.

  • @hfiosl Wanna see a picture of my titanic wang? It might cheer you up.

  • @hfiosl your mother

  • @hfiosl booooooooooo fucking hooooooooooo

  • What angers me most is that the subject of sexuality is brought up at all in regards to HIV/AIDS. The FACT is that the gay community was the first community IN THE WESTERN world hit. The fact is that a retrovirus doesn't randomly pick people. It looks for a host and replicates. Period. I am a healthcare worker who had a needle stick at work. That retrovirus doesn't care a thing about my life style.

  • @hfiosl says the person scanning through pages of comments to bitch at people.

  • John Sex Epic Name

  • Honestly, I didn't any of these people.

  • for all these fucktards, AIDS is also contracted by BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS lol not just suprize butt secks :D (mostly butt sex tho)

  • @darkslayer1391

and the carelessness of others. like the dental office in a VA hospital in Washington DC. They worked on 1800 patients without sterilizing and had an AIDS patient they worked on BEFORE all those patients.

  • Unless you got AIDS through a blood transfusion or something like that it is your own fault. Get over it and go bother some one else, youtube.

  • Why do we give a shit about AIDS? AIDS is self-inflicted. Wear a rubber and don't do drugs and there you won't get AIDS. And shut the fuck up with all this awarness crap, there's not a single person in our country who's not aware of AIDS, yet people get it because they're reckless/careless with their own lives.

  • @lureyourkidsinvan you are an idiot! exactly why there needs to be more awareness and education. Its people like you that spread hate and ignorance. you have no idea what these people or their families go through. yes, it is preventable, but if it were really that easy, why do we still have aids? its flippit comments like yours that show you dont know shit!

  • This is a thought provoking video. We all know the power of "home." The feeling of coming "home" after a long day at work, a trip, etc. This video shows the last homes, addresses, of these people... the places they last came home to. Probably the last homes they loved. A place called home, especially a LAST address, is a very special, strong place. This video connects you personally, somehow, to that specialness. Although, yes, it is a sad thing. Thank you for making it and posting it.

  • a jew made this video

  • Dear @nigeria713

Stop trolling, you sick, close-minded, disgusting excuse for a human being.

    Thank you,

    -Tadness

  • Go to gonzalez777100

  • 1102 shares are better than all your stupid comments

  • Silly faggot, dicks are for chicks :)... It's your own damn fault for getting aids... Stop getting your salad tossed and you might stop the genocide you are bringing upon yourselves... Check yourself, before you wreck yourself!!!

  • @kabob5119 hey dont tell them stop, atleast if they get aids they wont be around to molest as many children and ruin the lives of others

  • @XxImaGXx THE GAYS STARTED SPREADING THE DISEASE

  • A new existential artist....new era existential thought process. Its not about dasein anymore, its become specialized and categorized. i.e. homosexuals dying from AIDS, which is more or less self inflicted but thats another subject, really makes no difference because existence itself does not matter in the scheme of things. Its kind of interesting but only marginally.

  • this shit should have been more. i understand and respect the cause, but what a dumb video

  • they were all fags anyway, i couldnt give a fuck. this video is fucking boring and shitty. the production, the shooting, the sound, all of it is shit

  • This should make people less likely to act "artistic" but I doubt it.

  • On World AIDS Day, I am saddened to find so many ignorant and homophobic comments. It just goes to show that much work and change is still needed. Knowledge = Power. Silence = Death.

  • @nelsonandsparky finally someone with some sense.so many ignorant people and trolls on youtube is driving me nuts

  • Waste of 8 minutes of my life. If I wanted to see houses I would have took a walk around the block. At least then I would've had some good exercise.

  • people always want to be sexually sick and do shit that ruins our country and other peoples lives , all you sick ass people DIE !!!

  • hey dick u sound like a nigger

  • @buddahslayer i am a nigger so fuck off faggot

  • @IsItOnTab WOW YOUR FUCKINN STUPID...(:

  • Hmmm, I question the relevance the exteriors of these artists' living spaces in their lives. It's a beautiful film, but not well thought out in my opinion.

  • @be1know1 It's a reminder that they were real people, living in real places, in real time. Their lives can now only be seen from a distance, from outside. And life goes on.

  • @pdquick1 Thank you.

  • Pools closed due to AIDS

  • Beautiful fiim (i wish I could afford to live in a place similar to the ones depicted), but the point, please?

  • @KLRwashere I think showcasing examples their collective contributions to the Arts would be better appreciated. Everyone lives somewhere. And since they are no longer with us, I dont see the point in showing where they lived. They are not there anymore, but I might can find them in their works!

  • dont have sex and dont get AIDS

  • amazing piece of work. not that I know any of those artist, but the concept is grate. for a non new yorker (non american actually) such as me, this was simply good

  • Please list the video tool in English.

  • Camera info, pls...?

  • @SilentHiss1 Probably a 7D or 5D MK II

  • @SilentHiss1

    BEAST 110 PRX !

  • ....waste of time. The overwhelming majority of these people made a risky lifestyle choice and thus stacked the odds against themselves. Nice buildings though.

  • @Hundedox

HUND your user name in German means : DOG, BASTARD !!

  • What a waste of digital space.

  • @elis1mom I lived in NY too, and I completely agree with that observation.

  • wht da hell this video maens???

  • Too many of us have our own video in our heads with the names of our personal losses... addresses and , faces ! .... Perversity of Life, once... Absurdity of Behavior, nowadays..the Beast is not airborne ..GET TESTED !

  • What camera is used in this video?

Amazing work guys. Keep it up.

  • On any given day, at any given time, at any given address, please take ANY given opportunity to share a portion of your self, love, and laughter with a loved one and be sure to embrace them before you leave because what you impart to them on this particular visit may be the last thing they know of this earthly life before Death pays a call as their next visitor.

This was a quietly powerful tribute to your friends, all of whom died too soon - thank you for sharing.

  • @nedved5000

This is true, but is it stupidity or despair? I see a very specific connection in the physical and non-physical realms of each person. I also see hope in networking progress itself, telepathically, as strange as it may sound at first. By the rules of nature we cannot leave anyone behind.

  • meh. diseases like aids, wich kill millions of ppl are only natural.. after aids there will be others :(

  • @OmfgItsHenu

so will morons and their comments...have you been tested ?

  • @EutuveX that didnt even make sense. gj

  • @OmfgItsHenu

right..! stupidity cannot be tested... !

  • @EutuveX umm... actually you can test your intellectual capasity by IQ tests, which can be found everywhere. tho their not 100% accurate, they give a general idea of your itelligence

  • @OmfgItsHenu

you said it..."capasity " gives an accurate idea of "your" IQ

  • @OmfgItsHenu Actually you can't. An IQ test can only be administered by a mental health professional (Psychologist/Psychiatrist). I really would put no stock in an IQ test you filled out on facebook.

  • No disease, attack, plague, or fammine can stop the city or people of New York. Every time I visit I leave a little more of myself behind. I remember the first time my mother and father in law deemed me an official New Yorker and not a tourist, one of the greatest compliments of my life. This city is a family member to so many people.

  • /watch?v=iYNNoNLpHHU

  • ارررررررررحب يالشششنب

  • thats just gay

  • Absolutely amazing film

    beautiful yet saddness

  • Good video and color!! What video camera are used?

  • ????

  • We wouldn't have AIDS if people stopped having unprotected sex!

instead of a World Aids Day, have a World Cancer Day and advertise it as much you guys do for this!

at least people can't help if they get Cancer!

i feel no sympathy for most people with AIDS

  • @nedved5000 Here's hoping you get cancer!!

  • @oceansizesound nice, wish for another person to get an illness for expressing his opinion, yep that's what the world has come to.

i don't wish for anything bad to happen to you or your family buddy, just remember, what goes around comes around

  • @nedved5000 Good reply. It's hard to stomach some of the comments I seeon youtube sometimes. Truly, Karma must have a hard time keeping track of what needs to be done in this world.

  • @cwestsupporter aye, truer words were never spoken, but it's truly a marvel to see what people will say behind the safety of their computer.

only thing we can do is keep a bit of sanity.

    :)

  • @nedved5000 I think the whole idea about the day is to create conscience about AIDS, make people understand that this is an illness that you can prevent with good life habits like having protected sex or don't share needles. Till the day scientists find a cure, knowledge about AIDS is the way we have to prevent it. (sry if my grammar isn't the best)

  • @someguy661 not at all your English is great!

i guess it is to create awareness but even if everybody knows about it, they will still continue to procreate because a lot of the people that contract AIDS are people that deal with drugs and they wont stop abusing them just because they have an illness.

AIDS might one day have a cure, but there is no cure for stupidity

    nice answer by the way

  • Sadly, the National Portrait Gallery caved to pressure from the right and removed a video by David Wojnarowicz.

  • place in the video looks beautiful!

  • ...нет слов, четкое видео...

  • nice

  • elegiac is right. This is so sorrowful and, pardon the french, BORING. If I had AIDS/HIV, this would make me feel worse and more depressed. The ending wasn't even uplifting or remotely hopeful. Where's the "you can prevent this" or "help find a cure" line? That would have improved this sad "artistic" film.

  • this is so gay and boring buildings and crap so gay. i hope the people that watch this crap are not dead of bordem

  • @spartin0921 You're not getting the message.

  • I could see why someone would call this a great film from an artistic aspect. However, i could see how this film can be discouraging to some living with AIDS/HIV, pointing all of these great people that have died from this disease. I understand the rawness of the film and respect that, just wish that there was a little light at the end of the tunnel, or some form of encouragement for people living with HIV/AIDS.

  • good

  • good bye

  • this looks like a video game

  • i think you were going for the goodness of man trying to achieve...

but that is just me trying to be clever, lol...

    interesting

  • Even with the topic of the piece, this video was so serene to watch. Even as someone who is not a huge art fan/critic, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Great work!

  • what kinda camera did you use?

  • Thanks, Ira!!! RIP Frida. xoxo sD

  • Fran Lebowitz said, "AIDS killed all the cool people."...After watching this I've got to agree with her.

  • so peaceful and so sad and very generous of you.

  • Great stuff Ira. I thought it was a rather honorable way to continue to pay homage to some great artists and continue to showcase you own work as well.

  • This is beautiful Ira.

  • I lived at 55 Morton St. Never knew.

  • congratulaions..thank you

  • Haunting

  • Stunning, important, amazing. THANK YOU!

  • So gorgeous, elegant, quiet, sublime. THANK YOU.

  • Absolutely amazing. this film made my day.

  • poetic, graceful and poignant. selfless art that transcends time and boundaries. may all current artists find inspiration in this.
