I love the original movie, but everyone acts like it was perfect, some of the acting was bad and so was the script, however what they accomplished with computers in the early 80's with computer modeling is amazing, The behind the scenes piece on the DVD is great, Excited to see the new one

Why not just use normal filming for the human scenes? Embellish it later but don't model it entirely on CG. The physical animation of actors looks very unreal. Like watching Shrek.

Sure, it's all about embodiment in an electronic world. But the experience would be way more enjoyable believable if you leave the human articulations and so on alone.

This way you are not constantly reminded you're watching a badly synced 3D doll.
