I have both consoles, and both of them are fuckin amazing. Its just that both have their strengths and weaknesses. Xbox has better online, and its only 30 dollars every 3 months. If you think thats expensive youre cheap as shit. The PS3 on the other hand has more exclusives and those exclusives have better graphics. The 360 needs to use more disks, but it doesnt have mandatory installs, and theres no need to install achievements/ trophies on xbox. Theyre both good, people

@Fucklesticks i stated some facts and I know more reasons why consoles are better but think of it this way... if pc is soo much superior then why those it sell less? pc are too expensive, monitor gaming is not better than TV. pc has less games(mostly multiplats), no spilt screen, mouse and keyboard is overrated, games dont sell much as consoles meaning smaller community, install takes 20 to 30 minutes, some games are just not suited for pc like fighting games, pc has too many piracy issues etc

@puertorricanstar Nonsense. Sub-$100 CPUs and GPU are more than enough to outperform the consoles. Sure, PC is a more expensive platform, but not by that much. A $500 computer, excluding the display, is enough to achieve higher performance than either of the consoles.

@puertorricanstar With $500 you get a faster processor, faster graphics card and more memory than any of the consoles. So such a computer will last at least as long as the current console generation does. And I'm not talking about the platforms in general, I'm talking about performance only.
And don't bother with "gaming" laptops. Mobile hardware is not really adequate for gaming, since the low TPD means you'll be paying more for slower hardware. Get a desktop instead.
