ah stretch and the vac pacs....an immensely important part of my childhood! seems funny thinking back how much i utterly adored and cared for my collection. i remember how heart broken i was when one got punctured... seemed like a family pet had just kicked the bucket and my mum decided to get me a replacement because it meant so much to me! ahhh kids xD i think the film toy story had an impact on me as a kid and i felt like stretch/vac man might have very mixed feelings about being broke

I'm 18 and I remember having Vac Man for my 5th birthday. Out of my entire childhood, he was always my favourite toy and the one toy I looked forward to owning before I got him. He always kept getting pierced and ripped but my dad always ended up mending him properly.

Now, 13 years later I've got him sitting on the end of my bed. They're really cheap on ebay, you can find pretty pristine condition ones for (5-15 dollars or pounds) I got mine brand new for £30 because I'm extra fussy. :]

Wow I was 8 to 10 years young when I had the Vac Pac Intergalactic,I had a med sized one and I named it too and my cousin had a little more.He had that big one right there and med blue one looking all icy and a yellow one and a green and we used to make a movie with them and there own show.All kinds of fans would of loved us if we had some type of cam and we recorded it.We totally were selling it like the commercial but without having it online and I didn't know about youtube for a while.

sigh my little brother had stretch fetch and vac man...me being the idiot i am after a petty arguement took my hatchet to them and destroyed all three :(:( still makes me sad to this day....i felt terrible seconds after the deed was done....sigh!

I hope you enjoyed my presentation about the Science of Toys, and I am delighted that you found VacMan so interesting. VacMan has been off the market for years, and can only be purchased from someone who has one. If we need them, we go to Ebay or other sources. I hope you are able to find one at a better price. You may be able to find one of the smaller versions known as Vac Pac for less money.

I remember my Vac Man. I took the little vacuum and pumped it on my neck giving me quite a hickey. My whole family thought it was hilarious.
