  • I really like your videos. You seem like a really decent bloke. Stay safe and continue to make videos, please.

  • I'm sorry but it's a pun nightmare for me... unfortunatly puns run in the family. I'm cursed!!XD

  • I'm not going to engage in verbal banter, I will be up front with you. I think you are hottt!! I have no quams about telling you I would give anything to meet you. You got the balls?

  • lol i wouldnt of thought to translate spot to zit.. u seemed proud that u did translate it lol

  • lmao

    when you said four papers

i thought you meant four individual newspapers

and i was like well thats a bit odd how does everyone get a chance to read it?

and then you were like wait four prints not individual newspapers.

    haha i feel silly now

  • Please make another video.

  • wow u have a pretty vioce i love yer accent

  • you fucking joker SUBSCRIBED

    i love this shit man

  • I shall subscribe. This is a great video.

  • What the hell does "Take the Mickey out of" mean, anyway?? ;) Saying things like that makes me worry for Disneyworld!

Thank you for translating to "zit" :) I had a good laugh over that... and had heard you call them "spots" before and had to think for a minute about whether you meant a zit, or some disease that appears as a rash or something.

As for Superman Adams, sounds to me like he's been gounded in more ways than one ;)

    Great post my friend.

  • lmao, loving the pun!!!

"taking the mickey" is like mocking someone, taking the pis

haha yea we dont ever say zit over here :)

  • @PaullewisProductions Hi Paul,, "taking the pis" here would refer to a biological function (taking a leak or pee or urinate). So for my fellow Americans the following: To take the piss is an expression meaning to mock, tease, ridicule or scoff.

  • Wow! Not quite as awesome as my old next door neighbor named jesus...or the twins that go to school with me lemonjello and orangejello! Nice video, thanks for the horrible puns.

  • You should really take the Mickey out of that spot! ("Take the Mickey out of" is something I had to translate into American English from British English because, apparently, my German-English Dictionary is REALLY a German-British English Dictionary! ^_^) ...Just thought I'd say...

  • so do americans not use tht saying then?

lol, many english will say tht americans cant speak the language lol!

  • No American I have ever met has EVER said anything like "take the Mickey out of..." ... ever!

And I wholly agree: Most Americans can not speak English.

Of course, you have to realize, that "To take the Mickey out of" is wholly contextual: "us" Americans haven't had to deal with an invasion of Irish to such an extent as Britain... our Immigration was what made this country what it is... Queer, isn't it? (Another word translated differently in "American English" ;^)

  • haha u make gd points and of course im not having a go, english is the most bastardised language there is!

so do u use the word queer meaning gay or strange?

  • I use it (being the archaic speaker that I am) to mean "strange". However, if you were to jump ship and swim to New York (or anywhere else in the Continental United States) and brought up the word "queer" in conversation at, say, McDonald's, it would mean "gay" in a very derogatory, if not defamatory, sense.

...I'm enjoying our linguistic banter! Thanks! ^_^

  • haha np, any conversation tht involves the term linguistic banter is awesome in my eyes lol!

yea both meanings are used here, generally thuggish ppl used it as a derogative but if anyone used it in a sentance ppl no what they mean and dont question it either way lol

  • haha oh my! That is hilarious! I wonder if its his birthname or he changed it...

  • haha all i can think of is how he got off with the name "Superman Adam" either he thought it would be funny to change it or his parents really didnt like him as a kid.

  • I <3 PUNS =]

  • yay, me and u anna <3 puns together lol

  • And the lesson is, don't expect Shakespeare when reading the paper. Still, otherwise you would never know the story of Superman Adam.

  • it would be pretty cool if shakespeare had written this story! lol

  • Ah, the Metro, a fine source of cutting investigative journalism.

I do wonder whether Superman Adam changed his name, or whether his parents were on a twenty year pot high when they named him!

  • puns galore..

    sort of awful.

but what did you expect? it was the metro..its free.

    puns are like their food

  • haha, yea the writers and editors are like "well its free, so we can do what we want, to make our days more enjoyable" so they make puns :)

  • ok first

(1 ^_^) Superman Adam?? How awesome is that name and haha jokes to the police for their comment!

(2 :o) Shame on you metro! he who would pick a pun would pick a pocket! so in this case god damn....criminal mastermind!!

(3 :D) Metro ftw! Has to be read many a day by moi self! :p

and finaly (:p) Awesome vid my friend! keep em coming!

  • metro ftw!! lol thnx man

  • hahaha wow thats funny.
