Best YouTube performance I have seen of this, good phrasing and touch. Great tone for a digital too, imagine what you could do with a grand and a decent room. More atmospheric pieces please !
What a great performance of this beautiful piece of music. I love all of your Debussy and Ravel videos!! You play with sensitivity and a lot of emotion! A big fan of yours in Ohio!!
Thanks so much to meet you again, I'm very happy for this. Time ago I was thinking to work and upload all opus 28.... Thanks again for your appreciation!
Hi Darkmooncaverns19. Yes, you are right about the "chordality" of this music.
With you I've discovered a thing that didn't considered and is the fact that one can listen my videos while works. ... An dear friend - I ensure you - Know this for me is an authentic pleasure...
I really enjoyed this until the end, the cathedral is supposed to be sinking back into the water, I don't think the speed and volume you used at the end portrayed that as well as it could have been done. The left hand ostinato is more like the water bubbling as it sinks back into the abyss. Just my opinion though, very well played.
thanks for your opinion and for your comment. There are different renditions about your question. For example check the Michelangeli version and compare it with the Ciccolini'sone(my teacher).
Beautiful singing tone even on a digital piano. I would slow a little bit at the begining, though. Did you consider performing it on a good upright-piano for the sound?
Thank you. Your playing is beautiful. I enjoyed it very much :)

Hi, may I ask what fingering you use for the last 2 chords in the treble of bar 56 to enable you to hold the minims? Thank you.

I think that your interpretation of this piece is magnificent, especially the central part.
Tu sei un pianista dotato, è ti auguro bouna fortuna.
Grazie.

Grande dinamica perfetta a mio avviso, anche i crescendo della parte centrale quando la cattedrale sta uscendo fuori dal lago!!
Bravissimo
