  • Why the dislikes?

  • Thank you bro...

  • Thank you :)

  • Hahaha, you were doing it wrong, then, Cirrus. Anyway, fuck you you pussy.

  • ...also you guys are missing the point, he is saying that you should game and use social media in moderation and not let them take over your life. He wasn't saying that videogames were ruining his life, it was that he was playing them too much.

  • your right

  • A wise man once said "Time you enjoy wasting is not time wasted". I don't know what makes you think that acquiring skills that could potentially help you make a lot of money and being more social will lead to a "better" life. Is it really what life's all about? Becoming the perfect version of ourselves? I've spent countless hours playing videogames and you know what? I don't regret a second of it. Even if I wouldn't last five minutes in a zombie apocalypse.

  • Just because you guys were lucky with were you grew up, friends you had, or how you look doesn't mean you can just go around and mess with everyone else who actually has it hard. I know I have lost everything because of gaming and also because of my choises and I know that it is so to speak impossible for me to back to the life I had.

CirrusEpix made a great video and got an award for it, there is a reason the video got the award. Alot of people have this problem so try to show some compassion!

Has any of you guys heard of the word "compassion"? Do you go over to the drug addict that tries to fix his life and say that he ruined his own life and this is what he chose and wanted?

I'm 17 myself and have so to say lost all my friends because of gaming, everyone else was good at something, soccer, basketball, impressing women with backflips and so on, so I stood in the back and let my gaming addiction slowly take over my life until I had no real life friends left.

  • argh loading sooo longgg >:O

-passes the time by playing an online game-

  • "average person makes 2-3 level 80 characters"? wtf. took me four years to get one character to level 50. how the hell can people sit for such a long ass time like that...

  • The community sucks. Look at all the hate comments. Yes there are nice people, but the gaming community are a bunch of haters, fan-boys and PC fan-boys.

  • i agree with this video, cause alot of people are addicted to games and put aside everything they could do in their life just to play skyrim, WoW, MW3, BF3 or any other game, i admit i played WoW, got skyrim do play it, but not that much. a friend of mine is addicted and lost his dog last week because he dont wanted to miss 20-30min of a game 4 times a day to feed the dog and walk it. so i got alot of respect for Brian. and more then 70% of comments come from game addicts so just think about it

  • Lol at this fool. He blames videogames for ruining his life, despite his CHOOSING to pick videogames over important events in life.

    A genderbent soccer mom, methinks?

  • this shit its sad, the guy trows his life away and then blame videogames...videogames are media that make you take desicions that dosent really matters, as such, you fuck up alone. AAAAND THEN you go back to mmorpgs after you try to school us, and they have valuve, if you have a life with hours inside and outside videogames, they are the best sublimation, the best imagination maker, the best memorys one can have by themself. you suck man, sorry but you suck.

  • foreveralone :-[

  • Well...back to Skyrim

  • I think you changed my attitude months ago.

  • Hmm... Sounds like you just fail at life.

  • Cirrus I understand that you let yourself go and you let video games ruin you. I'm very sorry for your choices. However, I on the other hand am alive because of video games and have friends because of them. When I was young I had a bad life, video games were my escape into a world where I had friends that cared and would listen when I told them something. I'm not trying to give a sob story. I am now 17 with a promising future and a wonderful set of friends. All possible because of my games.

  • >more-so all the opportunities i've pushed away to make time for videogames

the only people who do shit like that are stupid unclean autistic neckbeards.

  • Haha, what a fucking queer. That's what you get for never moving beyond the casual-zone in games. And yes, self-control. A child or a retard might throw away hundreds of hours to a single game, but smart people get bored.

  • Things can be entertaining AND have lasting value, dude.

  • the thing about some people is: they lack the willpower to come off the games every once in a while...ive played warcraft for a year now and i still got one level 40 character because im usually busy out doing stuff with my friends or finding something to do.these games are fun yes, because theres no way in this world im going to lead a demonic army, or be an assassin or even a dwarf, its fun to play them but sometimes id rather be outside working on a dig or something like that

  • @Zombine117 and "games dont teach you anything" well, thats how i learnt left and right and some basic math better than the teachers in school could teach me, and how i learnt some aspects of history, mythology, patience, and (with online games) social skills due to my isolation from other people...its like they say on that warcraft loading screen: all things in moderation.

you kinda took it to the extreme, you should have had the willpower to say "no, i need to get up and do something"

  • >Fat worthless piece of shit

    >Wife divorced him, probably cheated on him with a black man with a 10inch dick

    >No friends

IT WAS THE VIDYA GAEMS GUISE I SWEAR, ITS NOT BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES ME.....YEAH...

  • Hey atleast he made me delete my Facebook account.

  • I can understand that video games have taken a large percentage of your free time. Though this is what you've decided to do with your free time, not somebody else. Even if you've spent doing other activity than playing video games you would still blame the fun you've had because you've could of been doing something better. Psychological you're a maximizer, and thus will never be happy with your choices.

  • >his entire argument is grounded in developing attributes that would woo the opposite sex as opposed to playing video games

    All about them girls huh?

  • Don't blame videogames for your failure of a life. Nobody was forcing you to play the games.

If videogames are to blame for you having marital problems and being overweight, than Marilyn Manson had a direct part in the Columbine Massacre and should be put in jail for telling those boys to kill.

  • Also, "Video games don't make you smarter." Speak for yourself. This is only one example. I played Runescape when I was younger. That game taught me about different weapons used in medieval society. It taught be a bit of the colloquial language used back then. The sort of armour that knights wore. Because of that game I was much better at history in school. This is just one example of many.

  • Vidya smoke! Don't breathe this!

  • So, what you're saying, is that instead of doing an activity that I enjoy immensely, that I should go and do other activities that I dislike? Video games aren't the problem. People are the problem. If somebody can't bring themselves stop playing video games, do you blame the games or the person? There is no scientific evidence that video games are addictive like alcohol or cigarettes. People just need the will to stop playing.

  • you get on your high horse and pretend that you "teach" others

you're the one who forgot that games are "entertainment"

  • I bet those sticky notes say some profound shit like "In this life, wipe front to back not back to front".

  • Breaking news: Driving back and forth between NYC and LA, wasting fuel and damaging the environment, is more productive than sitting in your room and playing Wow with friends. So says this one guy.

  • Another mistake is that you only drew four fingers. You prolly sucked at vidya cause you are mutant nerd

  • FUCKING CASUAL.

  • We are insignificant. Your false notions of possible achievements are amusing to say the least.

It is a wasted time. Suitable for the wasted existence most of us would lead anyway. No god, no afterlife. Just oblivion. Deal with it.

  • You're right I should become a kung fu master, even though I enjoy playing video games and don't enjoy being a kung fu master...

  • Stop blaming video games for the problems in your life.

You're not playing video games because of the addicting false sense of achievement, the false sense of achievement is only addicting because you're life is a miserable failure anyway.

Removing videogames from the equation is not the process to a better life, it's the RESULT of creating a better life for yourself.

  • Nothing really has any lasting value because you die whether you like it or not. What is important is that you know you did what you loved and have no regrets. You just need to balance gaming and take care of what is important first to have a healthy life.

All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...

  • >implying things that are entertaining don't have implicit value

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! STOP ENJOYING THINGS!

  • Get a filter on your microphone I really love hearing that grainy shit voice leak out all over my ears. Unprofessional as fuck.

  • The music is completely over the top for this simple, pointless little video bro. You're not the Lion King, you're some douche you figured out what most people already knew. Way to be slow man, you gotta go fast.

  • @LordsSky He isn't Sanic

  • So instead you decided to make videos crying on the internet about it.

Fault is yours for lacking self-control. Would be better to just shut up and keep going.

  • You did good, man. You threw your videogames away and actually achieved something. You made a video with 700k views. Put it in your resume.

  • Sounds less like video games are to blame and more like your dumb ass is.

  • Responsibility is key like ryanstube01 said and my heart goes out to your... mishap. Your video was rather touching but your little facts kinda ruined it. You say you could do so many more productive things but consider the following...

Cook 48 turkeys: for who? who actually buys that many?

Drive to NYC to LA 3x: that's a waste of natural resources and your own money and I for one will do no such thing

Read (x,y,z, and all 7 w,) unless its educational that's just as much a waste of time as VG's

  • 18 Years old. I play video games for roughly 13 hours a day. That's why I'm up right now at 5:30 in the morning and I'm going to wake up roughly 2pm tomorrow.

    IDGAF

  • What else can I do bro? Jobs never hire me, I can't make friends with the average person or talk to girls who are average. I can't even afford college. Pirated video games are all I have to save me from the crushing loneliness.

  • *** LIK DIS IF U CRY EVERTIM ***

  • lol fag

  • lol fag

  • Games won't have such realistic graphis like "game" called Real Life :).

  • I disagree about that video games are not useful and it's just wasting time.

Video games made me able to learn other people culture like American for example. Not only the culture ,but also their language. I learned to speak English from video games by myself and now I'm learning Japanese.

And I also learned history, physics and chemistry. Not that I got an academic degree ,but it taught things I can use in my daily life.

Thank you for your effort in making this video.

    Sincerely.

  • If i get called a no life I really don't care cause I make money for what I do playing video games for 1,200$ every 6 mouths

  • Life is a videogame. yeah i better quit playing video games and start enjoying real life. In real life i can level up my self enhance my self better than playing video games. goodbye videogames you suck ,,/,,

  • *tear*

  • one of the best videos i've ever seen , great job

  • He said it, at the very end, life is a video game. lol

  • well, ima play some video games

  • I just realised how easy it is to train a 80 lvl WoW account >^^>

100 days total playing time in RuneScape and counting!

  • Gee, a man with an obsessive, addictive personality type who's quick to blame other things for this own failings.

I think I know why your wife left you.

  • Hey, I truly do have respect for this video, but in someways it makes no sense.. how plays video games do develop better reflexes? I'm pretty sure we all play for FUN. and if your crossing the boundaries into addiction, you shouldn't blame it on the games.. you should blame it on your self. Video games are like eating food.. you just need to control your self, or face the consequences.

  • When I was 18 I spent an entire weekend with 3 other friends at my home, attempting to unlock the Halo 3 Vidmaster achievements. It took hours of painstaking lows and moral boosting highs. It was a mental, emotional and physical challenge as we plowed through for our reward; an in-game helmet

In the end, I didn't even use the helmet. But what I got from it was a memorable experience with 3 good mates, with teamwork, trust, honesty and mateship. Games are not just wasted time or empty experiences

  • my response is this. YES, games do have an impact on our lives, but at the same time make friends. Me and a lot of my real life friends are gamers at heart, but there is a mutual understanding of these being entertainment. While I do spend a fair time gaming, I am ready to leave and do something else. I have several horses, dogs and friends who DO recieve attention. While I understand your argument, I consider them my favorite entertainment, and what sparked my friend group, but not a lifestyle.

  • Please, make another video without this sentimentalist music. I won't take your message for a serious unless you try to make a serious video.

  • The only _TRUE_ friends I have are from the internet and video games.

    Talk for yourself.

  • So let me get this straight - according to this video the only reason video games are worth playing is because you eventually get to meet the fat, socially-awkward man-children who also play games at a convention you wasted $200 for. Yeah, no thanks, I'll just stick to having fun.

P.S. I know paperclips who animate better than you do.

  • don't blame the vidya, because you have no will power and a shitty life

  • how my life would be without games, well let's just said my penis and my hand would be broken

  • Point is, the only power games have is what power you give them. I can play 12 hours non stop if I so like but I CHOOSE to hang out with friends, my girl, or study whenever needed, simply because I WANT and CAN do these things. Everyone can. Some simply don't have the willpower to see beyond the bridge of their nose. I was once like that, but it's complicated.

No life is simple after all. The choice is always ours, fact.

  • I'm 18, and have been a serious gamer since I was... 6? From the moment I could coordinate my hands and understand that two plus two equals four, I had already mastered the PS1 console.

Where do I stand now in my life? I have friends, whom I would trust with my life and they are fun to be around with, a girlfriend I love very much, I've gotten into a good college and I aspire to be a writer one day.

All these, and I'm still a hardcore gamer.

  • This is kinnda true....I hate to admit it but its sad when you give up oportunities to improve your social life just to play some extra hours on your favorite game. How many of us trully think that social networks and games bring people together.

  • The only thing I know is that almost 2 years later, [and like, 6 on youtube] this is still the most retarded video I've ever seen here.

  • I'm 16 & Played video games for 2 years and towards the last few months I've realised that they're just ruining people's life. As this guy has said "They don't improve anything; they'll ruin your life". I Thought my life was over until I've found the love of my life enjoy time with her!

    L.K <3 forever xxx

  • I'm 15 years old and except for playing computer games i have to do nothing, at school I don't have lot of friends, because I study well and the think that I am NERD,but I'm not.... And I'm not grown up to have a job, to have normal friends...

  • Interesting, but as has probably been said before, it's all about self-control. I would rather play games than do a lot of things, but not nearly to the exclusion of all else. It's a fun bit of entertainment, and I plan to keep enjoying it.

I may be a bit biased, as I am studying Game Design in college right now, but videogames themselves are not in any way bad. They are as addictive as any entertainment medium , but that does not mean that they are bad. Have fun, but don't let them take over.

  • @CirrusEpix Good arguments. And.. hehe... The Burning Crusades :3

  • I already knew it's entertainment but I only play if I REALLY have time. That's just how I'm raised.

I honestly don't understand people who give their whole life away. For what? Videogames.

  • Well said! I came to the same conclusion (9 times actually, and I've learned my life lesson early.)

  • Videogames are entertainment, just like alot of other things people sacrifice their life for. Except, with videogames you get to share your experiences and achievements with other people and get good memories along the way.

  • Hey, great video.

I too am addicted to gaming. I am only 19 yet but I've already wasted 1 year dropping out. I really wanna quit gaming but the media hypes every new game that I wanna try them out. And then there is something wrong with my psyche as well, as once I've started a game I am unable to put it down, even if it stops being fun after a while.

I am totally aware that these games are ruining my life, yet I feel helpless.

  • Yet you play maplestory so your obviously different to us for example console gamers mostly dont have this prob yet thanks for burning wow

  • If you actually let this video change what you're doing, and make you regret, that's sorry as hell.

  • How can you dislike the truth? Thank you for saving my life .

  • Wow, this really touched me, being at a young age though, things like being divorced or stuff like that matter. And in fact, playing games on the xbox help me talk to my friends when not in school, it helps my friendship grow. When im not doing that though, i try to improve my art skills. I use video games to try to find an art style maybe, i will like to become an animator just like you.But i always find when im not trying to get better, im having fun with my friends.

  • I live with two young college students who are addicted to computer games. Sometimes I wonder where they live. One day, we went to T-mobile together, i got my problem solved, but the sales person told him to come back after few days because the cell phone testing machine was not in the store. On our way back, he said (i paraphrase them) "i knew my problem won't be solved 'cause i gained two lucky boxes from my game last night. I just over used my quota. " seriously? gamer, what's in your mind?

  • video games make me lose wight XD because i wont leave to eat and ill just go to sleep and then go to school and sometimes i'll even forget to eat.

  • Touching =*)

  • Touching, posted everywhere i could.

  • Briliantly made. Even though there is an laugh here and there, there is a big truth in it. That's why I'm a "healty gamer". I game once in a while, but mostly not alone. I wont let it have any effect on my life any more :)

  • I'm a 21 year old gamer. I understand the effects that videogames can have on our lives. Some are good and some can be bad. Finding a balance between videogames and having a social life and interacting with others is something that is essential, especially if videogames are a part of your life. Its too easy to get carried away in videogames.

When I started college I loved videogames and I still do to this day, but I remind myself that I'm here to get a degree not play videogames.

  • I think I may be the minority in the fact that I bought Skyrim, and only played for about 15 minutes, and went to bed. And then played for another 20 minutes after school.

  • I don't really agree with everything you said in this video - especially that video games have no real value - but I can't argue that, since graduating from college and failing to find a job in this market, I was allowing myself to become totally immersed in games and the internet, taking comfort in something I knew I could succeed in and something I could derive something meaningful from.

I'm slowly working myself out of that hole now, thanks to some really good friends. Ones I met in WoW. :)

  • Video games is like, watching TV or playing sports.

It's all about self control and being responsible. You must prioritize what you have to do in life.

  • @ryanstube01 LOL Video games are NOT like playing sports.

  • Ugh.. back to MW3

  • I..., i gotta go think for a while...

  • I commend you, however, for bringing up your own experiences with gaming. I just want to help clarify to some people, that, well, this video came because of your experiences, not a Jack Thompson style assault against gaming.

And I think we need to make it clear that each person will have very different experiences with regards to the same thing.

  • And, more importantly, what about the strong interconnectivity that does form from "geek" culture through cons and truly legit online communities? Why can't we see more of this, rather than more of Jack Thompson's idiocy.

Look, all I have to say is that this issue has more points of view to it than what some will think. It's not two-sided.

  • I mean, sure, you're likely to get overblown media coverage on how people have wasted their lives on gaming, how kids have died from three consecutive nights of Starcraft, and how Gamers tend to be antisocial.

But what about the stories of true love and lasting friendship found over a game of WOW or Magic? How about the the unity that gets formed by 4 best friends playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii? What about the strong, borderline family bonds shown by some competitive Starcraft teams?

  • The problem. I mean, lets face it, if you can game hardcore and beat every Mario game while also maintaining a happy relationship and a good job, you shouldn't be offended by this. Really, I'm guessing that half the major detractors from this argument are also imbeciles on spam degenerate bullshit in COD or Halo on Xbox live.

However, this doesn't mean all gaming is that bad.

  • I can't say I agree with you on all respects. Yeah, you could probably attribute it to how some of these games play heavily on our nostalgia and our childhoods.

But I can see where you're standing with regards to gaming addictions and people whose only concern is to be number one on the leaderboards of Modern Warfare. I'm guessing the ones who actually are offended (Referring to the people who hate on you because of the video and not those who bring up valid counterpoints) are the ones with

  • I'm a bit of an addict cause my parents are strict as hell and I find myself grounded every other week lol , but he's right don't ever choose the remote over the girl, friend, or experience you can have in the real world

  • I don't care what anyone says!! We were put on Earth for one thing, SERVE GOD!! I used to be addicted and came around to the truth. You can learn teamwork in paintball and airsoft with real friends, not people you will never meet. Video games bring people together yes, SO THEY CAN ALL STARE INTO A SCREEN WITHOUT SAYING A WORK TO SOMEONE ELSE AND PUT MORE FUEL ON THE ADDICTION.!!!!! My best friend is totally hooked on video games. I really hate them for that. He spends all day with his games

  • This guy misses the point entirely - you only get one chance at life so it is your duty to do what you truly love. Do not give in to society's pressures - do what you love.

  • Good video, but not life-changing for me. I play maybe one hour a day. Many people smoke cigarettes for one hour a day. Which is healthier? I'm 27 now and don't have the attention necessary to play games for several hours in a row anymore, nor do I play between the hours of 11pm and 5pm. I guess I am not an addict anymore, but it's not like I've spent this extra time doing anything special. I've replaced games with sitting on my bed on the internet looking at upgrades for my car and home...

  • Holy shit! You sound like Jason Lee.

  • Damn... this video made me wake up (again), but it's not enough for me. I really need to think about this and work hard to get out of my game addiction :( Besides, 2011-2012 seems like the best years of gaming to me... so many good games coming out... Skyrim to name one. I have even thought about becoming a game designer in future.

  • I am an avid video game player but I will admit you have made some good points. At the end of the day it is the player who chooses to play their games excessively. I still reserve time for my health, fitness and socializing. Other players sadly do not have that willpower.

  • I stopped playing videogames, CS and WoW few months ago. Now I use internet only for making money.

  • @iwdnplay seksanna gej.

  • epic

  • Very interesting, very relevant and very touching but fuck it, I'll waste my life playing video games.

  • SO DEEP

  • This video does have a strong argument but the point is very weak. You're saying that playing video games have no real life value. We can't expect to be an expert swordsman or a learn how to survive a zombie apocalypse, but that's not that point of these games. These games teach us deeper things such as morality & the notion of working together with others. To say we all would be better off without video games is a VERY bold statement & DOES NOT apply to everyone. Still, I respect the video

  • @LatinMafiaII Thank you for the comment. When I made this film I had to decide whether to make the film personal or fill it with statistics & studies. Perhaps the real argument is, "How much time do we spend consuming (media) vs. actively doing or creating?" I've used the analogy between a sports fan vs. a sports player. To me, activities like games are fine for occasional entertainment, but are often poor "virtual" substitutes to the real actives. I only ask, how much entertainment do we need?

  • @ladykieyura Yes I would, people are always avoiding responsibility. Drug addicts made their choice to take drugs, saying drugs ruined their life, while the truth is that they ruined their own lives, drugs can't harm you, its an inanimate object. People need to get a control of their mentality

  • @ladykieyura he isn't taking responsibility otherwise he wouldn't make a video crying of how games "ruined" his life :/

  • at 1:50 you said "that I willingly pushed aside to make time for games" don't blame games for what YOU willingly did, what happened to personal responsibility, there lots of things that are far worse than video games, drugs, alcohol, being part of some gang, but all those are done through personal choice, all things are. Video games even have messages telling you to take a break, and motion games like Wii, PS Move, Kinect get you some physical activity whilst playing games. Don't blame games :/

  • frick...I couldn't read all of those books in 6-7 days....You level slowly in WoW my friend. Good thing you burnt them. Good thing I stopped playing it too, but like hell I can read that fast.

  • Thank you for making this.

  • Main reason why i play CSS or somesort of SP games

  • Very well put!! Thank you Cirrus!!!

  • Yeah go ahead and blame video games

The only person to blame is YOU

  • @acekillerpro You still don't understand. Get some sun my friend.

  • CirrusEpix how old are you?

  • LoL what a faggot. Man is never happy. The only thing you need to achieve happiness is to close your eyes and take a deep breath.

  • I’ve started to notice that guys usually begin to have this realization in high school, when they start dating…so what went wrong with you?

  • Funny thing ... animating this film probably took him around 3 weeks or more to make! xD

  • Love this video

  • in 2:55

    what game is it?

  • @MrRonronron2010 Sonnyc X

  • @MrRonronron2010 It is Final Fantasy 6

  • And now that he no longer plays video games he has made room for more important things. . . such as spending hours creating and editing YouTube videos.

  • Comment removed

  • I keep watching it all day!!!

    Very good job mate :)))

  • This video is so true!

  • That's why people need to find a happy medium between playing video games and actually living life.

  • thats why you bot on videogames man... lol

  • can someone tell me what is the background music? I really like it!!

  • This video was true in every way but you have to understand that to have to have a strong will power and have self control when deciding to play video games.

  • Ty.

  • Why master Guitar Hero, when you can devote that exact amount of time and that exact same skillset needed to master an actual guitar? Why waste time playing MW2, when you can almost as easily learn to wield an actual weapon? Both alternatives are certainly 100 times more badass. This is the one argument I DEMAND an answer to.

  • @gino14 idk about you but it took me like 2 weeks to master expert guitar on guitar hero lol ive had my real guitar for almost 6 years now and still can hardly play it.. js

  • @gino14 im starting to realize this very thing. Everyone has different values and sitting in front of a tv playing COD is no better or worse than learning guitar. However I can certainly say that I would rather spend the finite time I have on this earth learning how to paint a potrait, or ride a motorcycle across the country, or read the classics.

  • All mmy life I've been gaming, I have no problems so far... FU I will be gamer for my whole life .!.. + If you realise something don't upload it to youtube, dumbass...

  • You pro-gamers have one fallacy in your arguments. You are forgetting to realize that this guy DOES acknowledge his weak will. I'm all for gaming, playing games for hours on end, and wearing the badge of a gamer. But when you let videogames lord over your life, like he did, and he KNOWS all too well he did, that's when you(and this guy) need to realize what little you've gained, as opposed to what great amount you've invested. Will you control games? Or will games control you?

  • Good on you! I am pretty game lover but I do other things of course, I am in school, and already have tons of business ideas. At least you didn't realise now, and decide it was too late, because it isn't!

  • That is true often people have unhealthy game addiction habits to feed their needs or make them forget about life sometimes. However some people once they fall into that trap and find something that makes them happy they become addicted and some are self aware some aren't. I my self have fallen into this trap far to early in my life it's been years now because I became addicted to virtual reality. Although I'm currently trying to change my life around. I can relate to this video a lot actually.

  • At 4:50 ... you got it.. Amazing work sir. You pushed me away for a little before i watched the whole video... Then at that mark, you totaly changed everything around.. i am now the most popular kid in school (12th grade) I have a girlfriend but yet, i still play alot of video games...

  • HOME ALONE!!! Just the way I like it.

  • My good friend died in a car accident.. I blame video games for not teaching him better.. No lie.. RiP Tyler.

  • GRAMPT THNEK AUTO TAUGT M2 HEO 2 B A BALLR IF U DNT AGREE UR GAY

  • videogames made you fat and unattractive and a retard and 30

  • @TheBestGamersUSA Not til next year. Then I will be 30.

  • It's too easy for the average person to snort their virtual crack that is MMOS where you have VIRTUAL friends and VIRTUAL wealth, and VIRTUAL accomplishments, vs seeing reality as it is and that your high will only last as long as you are logged in. You might as well try to do the same thing in the REAL world with all that time, where you will feel like you are doing something with your life and you can say you accomplished something.

  • I am perplexed by the negative comments.

I was unemployed and addicted to gaming for many years. When I saw this short, I threw away all of my games and went to look for a job, which I got thanks to this film.

This guys is specifically addressing those with gaming addiction. If you are strong willed, naturally this speech doesn't apply to you. But if you are spending 80% of your life playing games, then it's about time you turned your life around unless you want to end up like he did.

  • dude i was fucking my wife while playing black ops in my 200,000 dollar house, you just suck GET ON MY LEVEL BITCH (achievement unlocked) shuting up fags who make stupid videos kill yoself

    MODERATION!!!

i play videogames a lot, but i also watch a lot of movies and read doyle and lovecraft. i can cook(not opening up a can of chef boy ar dee, actual cooking)

  • Well I think fundamentally there are some interesting points made here but it's important to distinguish a hobby from an obsession. I play a fair amount of video games (not really MMORPGs, it has to be said) but I would never let them come between me and my friends, family or even my degree. If you find them fun - have fun, it would be equally as destructive to spend all day reading war and peace and nothing else.
