This is an old recipe that Kraft just altered to include one of their products. It's traditionally made with saltine crackers, and it's much better this way. The saltiness of the crackers goes wonderfully with the sweet toffee and chocolate.
@brittnicolerocks33 Baker's chocolates are sold nationally in the US. You will find them in the baking aisle at your grocery store, not the chocolate/candy aisle.
It's MUCH easier to do these in the microwave!

is it necessary for you to put the pecans on top? wats a substitute for it?
TheJBFFS 8 months ago
@TheJBFFS You can choose to just omit the pecans. We don't have any recommendations for a non-nut substitute.

@KraftCookingSchool oh ok great...
can i use milk chocolate instead of semi-sweet
brittnicolerocks33 7 months ago
@brittnicolerocks33 You may substitute the semi-sweet chocolate with milk chocolate instead based on your taste preferences.

@KraftCookingSchool okay and doesn't have to be baker's or can i use, say, hershey's?
brittnicolerocks33 7 months ago
@brittnicolerocks33 This recipe was only tested using BAKERS Semi-Sweet Chocolate. We recommend that you use it for best results.

Yum. :D
What temperature do they bake at?
mediate27 1 year ago
@mediate27 Our Graham Break-aways should be baked at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 min. or until the topping is lightly browned and bubbly.

Any nuts would work ... walnuts, macadamias, pistachios ... even peanuts! They would also be delicious plain!
LoraFleming 2 years ago
I just used peanuts. Salted peanuts would have been even better.
KingOfSpite 2 years ago
I have used another recipe without the nuts and using saltine crackers instead of graham crackers. DELICIOUS.
