I love this score. Folk really is a brilliant and criminally underused composer. I'm still waiting for his first two scores, SAVAGE HARVEST and THE SLAYER, to get a release - brilliant, sweeping symphonic scores for mediocre and undeserving horror films!
I love Folk in general, this guy is one of the many composers out there that doesn't get a chance anymore. This is bombastic sweeping stuff, and films of today would be blessed with such an epic work.
Robert Folk should re-score Alex North's epic score to SPARTACUS and maybe some of Miklos Rozsa's dramatic epic scores! This score really hits it! So thrilling!
