No lie I seeing one out in lake okeechobe he wasn't that big he was like 5,4 feet and what drawd me to see it was because it smelled like a dead gator I wanted it's teeth but instead I saw a strange creature drinking water it was a skunk ape and it was perty fast when it saw me it gave one big leap and started running it's speed was amazing. Am serious I really did see it. So I know they are real.

I hunt on a regular basis and I have seen bears in the woods I hunt in but I've never seen a bear carcass and that's mainly because nature disposes of bodies very well so just because a body hasn't been found doesn't mean something doesn't exist and no one has proved every sighting as a fake either have they

i was talking about these things with my cousin the other night. she has a house in florida and she was driving and she saw a florida panther cross the road, seeing a florida panther in the wild is quite rare. also her boyfriend was riding his bike when a skunk ape crossed the road infront of him. he said it smelt terrible. also their neighbor down there saw a skunk ape cross the road infront of their house as well. so from what i understand these are quite common in the area.

many have spent there lives looking for gold without finding it also, but does that make it any less real? We may not have that big gold bar but we do have nuggets. There is unidentified hair and DNA that doesn't match known primates, thousands of eyewitness reports and hundreds of footprints. @peak199 not really. I'm usually the first to say something like the Skunk Ape doesn't exist. It's probably some idiot dressed in a costume running around or an altered photo. That is until I saw a special on Unsolved Mysteries. Some guy snapped several photos of it and actually got the hair it left behind on trees and sent it in for analysis. Unsolved Mysteries did DNA testing and said it wasnt synthetic (like on ape costumes) and it didnt come from a monkey or any other mammal known to us.
