Glad to see that someone who speaks English around here also posts bullfights andactually KNOWS what they are, who's there, etc. Nice bull, although from this tercio he seems alittle distracted compared to others. I'm impressed by him, though - Normally I pass the information and displays of Zalduendo's toros. What I do love is the trust you can get from his calm behavior.
I was studying in sevilla at this time, and was at this EXACT corrida. I can't tell you how grateful I am that you posted this! Of course I was in the last seat possible in the sombra, so I don't think I can make myself out. thanx a lot!
I've heard some rumors also about his the descent of his father but I don't think that it's verified if the father is Italian or not, others say that his father is spanish. Sadly it seems that he's not fighting in at Fallas in Valencia because of some economical issue. To me he's one of the best at the moment along with Morante and Cesar Jimenez. Looking forward to see more!
Perhaps I haven't seen enough of Cesar Jimenez in order to judge him properly, but the time I saw him at Plaza Mexico in a mano a mano against Ignacio Garibay I thought he was extremely boring. A friend of mine even said "please remind me not to come see this guy again".
I like Cesar Jimeniz a lot. I saw him in Murcia in 2005 and he rocked, very suave, very smooth! I will fly out to Sevilla in April and see him again! Looking forward to that. He is defintely worth a second chance! You can catch Most Matadors on a bad day, except for maybe Ponce and Juli which never suck!
Thanks a lot for posting this video. What a Matador this Castella - calm, elegant and fearless - mucha raza! Did you know that his mother is Polish and the father was Novillero when younger. Thansk again
Glad you enjoyed.Feel free to suscribe since I will add more faenas soon. Yes I know about Castella. His mothers maiden name is Turzack. I have also read that his dead is an italian by birth, don't know if that is true.Unfortunately he got banged up pretty bad recently. Still 2007 might be his year.
