  • me encanto esa sistema de suspencion regulable disculpa pero no hablo ingles muy bien :)

  • Mucho gracias! No hablo Espanol. :-)

  • how is that design not strong enough for use? I mean, I can see how the top pivot point is abit on the skinny side but with the right materials and welds, it could be very strong :D

I plan on making something of my own like this as well and I'm looking for suggestive suspension setups.

Might you have any guidance/advice for me?

  • very injanuative

  • Sorry, I'm not very knowledgeable about them. The main reason is I got these Hyabusa shocks for free and wanted to use them on the car, instead of buying $400 shocks for each corner. The 'busa shocks are short...only 2" of travel. Very difficult to use in a conventional A-arm installation. So I went pushrod to turn the 2" into 5.5" of wheel travel. Don't know if it will work..., the car isn't even a roller yet.

  • (...con't)

I recently found some good coilovers for under $200 a pop. Both QA1 and Koni have similar offerings. I'd probably just buy those if I were to do it again. It wouldn't be much more money, would be lighter overall, I believe, and far simpler to install and be pretty sure of getting it right. Lower unsprung weight, to boot.

  • I'm not that clued up on suspension really, could you explain the advantages of using pushrods rather than the regular set up?
