Hm, I don't quite understand why the mirrored version of the tutorial is easier. Isn't it pretty much the same? It's also a bit confusing because as he says "Lean Left" , he's actually leaning right. LOL, just wondering. I'm learning the dance from this video :]

so besides traditional counting what other counting ways are there? i'm new to dancing hip hop, so just wondering

@TippmanFaith counting in traditional 8 count bars or 4 count bars goes with the same as time signatures on written music. other ways of counting would be if the song was in a 3/4 time signature thus there would only be 3 beat bar or a 6 beat bar considering whether you were counting double or not.

Well some choreographers use beats instead of counting on 8 or a combination of both beats and 8s depending.

1) 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and...

2) 1 and a 2 and a 3 and a 4 and a ...

3) 1 e and a 2 e and a 3 e and a 4 e and a...

there are prob more but i dont know them

some counts are on a 4 count bar.

@TippmanFaith sometimes there are slower ones, such as 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, but usally things are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, ( 5,6,7,8 )

and if your in a dance class for example, sometimes choreo is like 1-2-3-4-5-6, haha

On their official YouTube channel, "eketc", the Tutorial Part 2 is already mirrored. They forgot to mirror the 1st but they did mirror the 2nd part.
