@PoorboysH22a Hate seeing that empty space with the single exhaust. And their will be no gain in HP over a single system to the duel depending on the type of exhaust you buy. The amuse single and duel system give the same HP and Torque ratings. And for the weight Amuse R1 Titan Extra Exhaust (Single) 3.3Kg Amuse R1 Titan Extra Exhaust (Dual) 5.8 Kg but duel system does cost more but just my 2 cents.
Ive had my 06 s2k for about a year and used it 24/7. I live in NJ and put blizzaks for the snow and it was great and alot of fun. I dont carry much with me and im usually alone or with a girl so it works for me. The SI is good too but nowhere close to as much fun to drive as the s2k but they both have their pro and cons. You'll have to switch tires for the winter on the S but not on the SI if you drive on ice or snow so its up to you
@mikewheeler609 It depends on what your daily needs are. Do you need to carry many people with you? Are you young and agile or in your upper years? I'm in my mid-20's and it's a perfect daily driver for me. I don't carry many things with me and I usually drive solo so it works out perfectly.
@ravynx I'm 19 and really only carry around my gym bag and small things like that, I do have a 52" inch long skimboard though that I use a lot that may not fit in that trunk, but the prices of used s2k's is much better than an 8th gen si and about same for insurance
@mikewheeler609 The 52" longboard won't fit in the trunk unfortunately; it can fit stuff about as tall as a golf bag with clubs in it. You can fit the longboard in the passenger seat though. Interesting note that insurance costs the same between those two cars because I know personally that s2k insurance is definitely not cheap. Best of luck to you!
How much did the F1 exhaust run you? I've looked at different ones for an S2K I have a preference towards the HKS Titaniums but is there a big difference between this one and that HKS?

@LiveForSpeed16 Check out the US eBay site to get a general idea on pricing. Depending on the year and condition it can range from $8k - $28k. It's hard to see that many here together as well unless we're all on a cruise or a meetup. Thanks on the vid. =)
@19danflo sorry to tell you but you got raped for that 1200...you should be pissed I've had mine for like 2 years and all the I've needed to do is oil changes and buy new tires and up the boost when I see an evo or wrx other than that I've had no problems, and the 60k was only 380 where I got mine at. I still love taking my friends with s2ks for rides its just so much quicker. Even with guys that have high hp ones (300+hp) say that its way more quicker in the 1/4 mile the torque is amazing.
@TH3Omaster maybe i did i took mine to ASE certified mechanics, i had my 92 vr4 for 3 years and to be honest it was probably one of the most unreliable cars i have ever owned, don't get me wrong it's extremely powerful and it was pushing 380 with just a manual boost controller,but the car kept breaking down it was probably in the shop 2x month. the mandatory 60k did include the timing belt that is why it was so expensive. i couldn't even do oil changes cuz i had to remove the plenum.
@19danflo Thanks man, I love the Sebring Silvers too. Mine is Laguna Blue Pearl and it was only available from 2006-2008 I believe; not custom, it's an OEM color.

@supermale Awesome, thanks for the kudos. I'm really apt about minimizing wind noise in videos so I had my friend keep the microphone in the car when he held the camera outside. I too can't stand the other videos on youtube with excessive wind noise; it just ruins everything.

@ravynx cool, do you like the 225 255 set up? and did you drop to 225/40 255/35 or stayed with they 45 40's? I just got bridgestone RE11 215 245 because I was worried about possible fitment issues.
@cmhfender It's been working out great so far. They are currently 225/45/17 and 255/40/17.
Good choice on holding back due to fitment issues. Those Cr Kai's I have on in this video are +47 offset and I was rubbing with 225/45 and 255/40 Direzza Star Specs. I picked up some volks with +50 and +63 offsets and the tires fit fine. 225/255 setup will fit just fine as long as you are on stock wheel offset measurements (assuming ap2 wheel setup).

does anyone know if there are any issues or complaints about this exhaust? i'm only asking because i'm thinking about getting for my s2k... love that noise... really is such a beautiful sound... and it's not totally expensive either... just wanna know if the exhaust is not gonna drop the s2k's hp or anything bc i know some exhausts do...
@taicq The only issue I had was putting the stock catalytic converter back on so I could run in STR class for autocross. I had to drill out one of the holes just slightly bigger to get it to fit. Other than that I don't think people have had issues. That yellow s2k in my video has the exact same exhaust setup with a cold air intake and he made around 15 extra hp on the dyno.

This is a really beautiful exhaust. I did some research online and got a great deal on it. I'm ordering the full system along with the header and test pipe next month. Should be something to look forward to! Have you noticed any improvement in throttle response or gains with this exhaust system?
@sunnice2 Pretty much. Just a suggestion though, if you don't have a garage to park it in don't even bother getting an s2k. You'll walk out one morning and your top will be ripped open and your seats will be stolen. Even in the "nice" and "gated" neighborhoods. If you can't afford insurance on a s2k I would seriously consider getting a boosted Miata; they're a ton of fun to drive.

@sieb1986 No, you are correct. $900 for a complete system is a really good deal considering some cat-backs alone are $500-$1200+. A header price is usually in the $500-$800. Granted the more expensive ones such as J's Racing and whatnot may offer slightly more power but at a much higher cost. You have to make the choice whether that extra couple of horsepower (or the sound) is worth the cost. Hope that helps.
@sieb1986 I did not dyno tune before or after. Most stock s2k's dyno around 200 hp to the wheels. My friend who has an ap2 s2k and the same intake & exhaust setup as me dynoed at 217 hp to the wheels. I'd say it's good for about 15 hp or so increase to the wheels.

@taicq The only issue I had was putting the stock catalytic converter back on so I could run in STR class for autocross. I had to drill out one of the holes just slightly bigger to get it to fit. Other than that I don't think people have had issues. That yellow s2k in my video has the exact same exhaust setup with a cold air intake and he made around 15 extra hp on the dyno.

This is a really beautiful exhaust. I did some research online and got a great deal on it. I'm ordering the full system along with the header and test pipe next month. Should be something to look forward to! Have you noticed any improvement in throttle response or gains with this exhaust system?

@sunnice2 Pretty much. Just a suggestion though, if you don't have a garage to park it in don't even bother getting an s2k. You'll walk out one morning and your top will be ripped open and your seats will be stolen. Even in the "nice" and "gated" neighborhoods. If you can't afford insurance on a s2k I would seriously consider getting a boosted Miata; they're a ton of fun to drive.

Just because you don't hear about it doesn't mean s2k's don't get broken in to. We see threads weekly with titles "my seats were stolen" or "my soft top was ripped". Ignorance is bliss as they say...

@sieb1986 No, you are correct. $900 for a complete system is a really good deal considering some cat-backs alone are $500-$1200+. A header price is usually in the $500-$800. Granted the more expensive ones such as J's Racing and whatnot may offer slightly more power but at a much higher cost. You have to make the choice whether that extra couple of horsepower (or the sound) is worth the cost. Hope that helps.

@sieb1986 I did not dyno tune before or after. Most stock s2k's dyno around 200 hp to the wheels. My friend who has an ap2 s2k and the same intake & exhaust setup as me dynoed at 217 hp to the wheels. I'd say it's good for about 15 hp or so increase to the wheels.
