From the moment I saw this scene when I originally saw the episode, I saw FEAR in Flocke's eyes when Jack said "I'm gonna kill you". I've never seen this interpretation of this scene. To me, it's clear as day!

Season 6 was so cool, I mean yeah it had it's flaws, like not explaining certain things in enough depth, but it contained so many bad ass moments like this one. Also, Man in Black/Smokey/Flocke turned out to be one of my favorite Lost characters, he was hardcore.

@martind28jf Sawyer said in the episode before (I think) that they weren't Candidates anymore - Jack had already taken the job. I think MiB kept them around because they weren't a threat and in case he could use them later on.

its amazing how terry o'quinn has managed to change character and play them both perfectly. You would think when you see him on screen as the man in black you would still see locke, but when i see him in scenes like this, all i see is the man in black and not locke. He does so well at portraying 2 very different characters in the same TV series

I enjoyed Lost for the most part, because of great scenes like this, despite being disappointed by the ending.

I dread to think what the quality of the show would have been like without Terry O'Quinn, brilliant actor!

Actually I really liked Michael Emerson, Josh Holloway and Henry Ian Cusick's performances but didn't think people like Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly were in the other's league but to be fair I am comparing them to great actors!

And I loved how badass Jack tells fake locke off, and how all the other characters are just floored, especially Ben who has a look of "what the fuck is going on right now..."

Terry is such a good actor. he legitimately plays two very different characters

when i see him and Mib its actually scary and makes you want to crap your pants

but hes completely different as Locke in the flash sideways
