Sunday School, NOT church services (significant distinction). Kalona is one of the few communities to use Sunday School Houses.
Every community is different. Here, the families take turns hosting church services in their homes every 2 weeks.
On alternate Sundays, there is an extended Sunday School service held at these Sunday School Houses. (Not an "unused schoolhouse"; they were built for this express purpose and are still very much in use.)
christians are fukin retard just like ray comfort,,what fukin morons,,u belive that there was a talking snake in the garden of eden!!! wtf..and if its true about adam and even the that means one of them must have been fukin their children in order 4 the rest of us 2 exist and that humans are all inbread,,well mabey in the deep south but not the rest of us,ur god thinks its ok 2 kill ur child if he/she dose not love u,and that woman have no rights and slavery is ok,,some god he is,what a man!!!
I used to be Amish, but we did not have service in school buildings, we had it either in the home, or in a barn. I am however wondering why you were snooping outside their service?
lol thank god they don't have wealth other wise they would be like slaves too most of us in inner cities are like slaves paying tax and etc all the chaos we have to through and that's because we want it and the elite love to manipulate it but for the amish there isn't much to take or give them.
I am not sure that you would call this building a "church" because the Amish I have seen always have Sunday services in their homes. Could this be a person's home in bad repair. If it's someone's house, how could they live in it with those windows like that?
Isn't it a disgrace for them to let their church fall into disrepair? I felt sorry for them untill they came out of the building and most all were able to swing a hammer.

I am familiar with this exact Amish Sunday School building! I know it's exact location! The Vision Ag ammonia tank was the "dead" give away for me!

@bxccapricorn you'd be surprised at how many of them do have quite a bit of money. To say they don't have wealth is totally off base.

Lazyness must run in the Amish Community!
They should be ashamed of this!

Perhaps they dont have money to make certain repairs in the outside
Perhaps inside it is more pleasing to your eye
