@PartiedOutPhil thats not exactly true, if your good with catalyst you can do everything faster inside of it, Plus not everybody wants to go ahead and learn actionscript 3.0 just for a website so its an amazing tool. If you're good with actionscript then theres no need to ever even look at this program though.

Doesn't anyone have a tutorial on flash intro in catalyst....? Will catalyst do a flash intro or must there be a button to push to get things started? I tried to publish a word fade in and fly in, but only the first stage shows up when I play it.... so what's up with that?

It would be nice if they show a library of popular examples of what FC can do and then explain step by step as a model to create my own designs. The entire collection of CS5 gets confusing as one may not know how to aim for a design start. For example, This program A does this and that and great for XYZ and here's how it was done and program B ... and so on.

I was wondering if it's possible to play mp3's in Catalyst file, if yes, then how? Can you import a 3-4 min. song, and have it play on an Audio Player, of whatever is used to play songs in flash?

@farrukhbig you certainly can attach mp3 files in catalyst. we made some sound effects for buttons for our website, it's works really well! don't know about a 3-4 min song though. good luck

@farrukhbig I was wondering the same thing, I have a media page, and I have a photoshop created image that has buttons to control playback. I can use it with video but it seems that the sound files can only be used as sound effects. Im trying to see if I cant "rig" something to get it to do what i need it to do. If you find any info on this let me know. Thanks!

@farrukhbig Ok brotha man, to add an mp3 to your site as something other than a sound effect. Simply convert the MP3 with Adobe Media Encoder CS5 (Included with Catalyst) Convert it to FLV and voila, import the FLV via import video and there you go, its now a FLV with no video and only sound! ENJOY!
