Remarkable. A hacksaw would have given a cleaner cut. Lining up the strips with the door closed would give an exact fit, no mention of the need to have pre-drilled holes centered on the top strip constituting the cutting of both ends....yadda...yadda...yadda. The "I got's me some tools, so's I'm a handyman" strikes again.
@greenmarine5 I'm a girl. I don't think I can do this stuff. It looks hard. Can we use duct tape to stick it on? Why do we need a hand drill and screws for?

Dude, why not just close the door and then install the strip. You'll get a nice tight seal.

do not use goves when using a drill it will wrap glove on the drill
