I happened to get an Esteban black with silver trim limited edition today in trade. I finally found an acoustic that "fits my hands", and sounds great too. I don't even look at a brand when I choose an acoustic to play on, it just don't matter. It is an electric/acoustic with an amp and works just fine!
His guitars are made in China from chipboard, not solid wood!. Chipboard has high quantities of melamine, whis is dangerous for your health. As for his playing skills, if you have 2 big boobs, Segovia would sign an endorsement for you within a second. This guy is fake, his live playing is totally different then on his CDs, which means he has good digital equipment engineers that make his beginner like playing plausible for real guitarist. Yeah,...heaters you ass...

It was worth it though because the Esteban had really bad fret buzz on the low string and tinny sound on the high string. And high action
what ever you do never buy his electric guitar. i did when i was in 4th grade and now that i understand guitar more... i say it was a huge mistake. i would recommend a fender squire over this. thats how much it sucks. but then again thats what happens when you dont go on the internet and search for guitar.

Let's be clear, Esteban is a hack! He does NOT play flamenco. Just ask any authentic flamenco/aficionado. He plays flamenco 'sounding' music on a nylon string guitar. He is an above average guitar player at best, who did not study with Segovia as he claims.
Esteban's music is easily reproducable. SRV's music, on the other hand....
Please have some respect for the truely talented artists, alive or not.

As a guitar player myself I can assure you that Esteban is a better all-around guitar player than Stevie Ray Vaughn. Stevie is better at one thing.... blues. Ofcourse they have different styles but on acoustic Esteban would dominate SRV. But on electric SRV would have an advantage. Either way... when it comes to playing Classical, Flamenco, Country and other various diciplines... Esteban wins. He`s just a better all around player.
