haha yea i live in east ryde round moncrieff drive. i was lucky to get this the driver came late!! the garbage and recycling usually come round 4:30am!!!

Awesome video! I grew up in North Ryde so this video has brought back lovely memories of playing in the streets. Oh and my son really enjoyed the garbage truck - just like the one that picks up grandma's bins :-)

yea mate lol they are all painted the same.. i noticed that to tell the difference there is two letters and three numbers on the doors and front of the truck

yea mate all of our bins have computer chips in them and when the arm grabs the bin, the computer sydtem can read all of the info such as how heavy the load is, if its overfilled. and if somebody doesnt put their bin out, he can press a button that says "not presented" and therefore won't be blamed for a missed service!!.. you were almost right but the 140 L are also nylex lol

No more bogus bins in Ryde! If you put out a fake non-council bin it won't be picked up!

this is good as footage!!!, and mini computer systems can be installed into a Side loader??, i didnt know that til now ... The Recycle bins are Nylex and the 140 litre garbage bins are Mastec yea..

WOW!!! GREAT VID!! Loved it! Finally seen more of these green machines in action! Is it the same driver that collects on the day for both bins or are there different drivers?? The CLEANAWAY FLs have that exact same screen on their trucks (got upgraded recently)... sounds pretty much the same from what he said! FANTASTIC POST!
