I wrote this song...or I should say started this song several months back and finished it last week. If I could have chosen, I would never have written this song at all. i would much rather have skipped that cercumstances that inspired these lyrics but God is showing me much beauty for the ashes now!

@jimiller7 Jim, thanks for commenting. It is amazing that the "joy that comes in the morning" is a dawn that is awakened by our PRAISE. I know that I'd still be in mourning if I'd not chosen to praise Him through the season where faith was blind. But now that dawn has scattered the shadows and I can SEE His goodness. It's so cool.

@yohanzo yeah I actually usually do it a WHOLE step lower, but my guitar needs new strings reallllllly badly and I was scared to detune again. LOL.
