They have to be shooting polaroids to get proofing so fast. So does this mean that they are shooting just for light? The final look or image that the publisher will use will be developed from plate later, no!? Or does the publisher actually use the polaroids that are being cut?

@LeroyLehano Polaroids are used for dialing in the exposure and doublechecking for hot spots and unwanted shadows. Its a quick way to proof and he posts the ones he likes so he has a reference for later when he switches out to a digital back and wants to recreate the shot. hope this helped.

Film is great but,it's too expensive and it's stressful. With digi you know what you got.rightaway. not tossing and turning all night wondering if your 115,000 dollar day was a waste of money and an endangerment of your illustrius carreer^_^. 35mp medium format can produce that same quality as film. Annie L. uses it for a reason .right?

Thats what polaroids are for Film final result is truly better. Look at the precision the lenese from Medium Format to Large Format bring!! What kind of image do you want? Good. Or Brilliant cause you know how to tame your camera. Study and show thyself approved!! God Bless Peace!!

although 1 "main light", there are 2 lights per side (right/left) "flanking" behind the model, for flat illumination of the background . . . this is created by shooting the background lighting into foam-core "V's", thus softer reflective light; also notice the black on the camera side of the "V's", or subtractive lighting and preventing lens flare. Love it!
