it isn't just san fran. i am in another west coast city, another state, and i am suffering from some kind of wifi. satellite tv, or cell phone transmissions coming into my home. they are high pitched audible. as i do have excellent hearing, but not everyone can hear them.

this is a serious health threat, the whole picture: do you really think san fran should become a ghost town , that is your rationale (just move away).

It never existed a few years ago. We were fine without it all.

Mayven,according to your "education", wireless technology can be made safer by using cables. This is just a glorified old fashioned "telephone"; nothing cutting edge other than replacing copper with optics. Fact is, radiation is inversely proportional to the sqare of the distance, and users face far more potential harm from phones against the side of their face than they do from cell phone base stations. People are free to use telephones. This is a fake controversey.

This may seem insensitive, but it seems to me that if you want to avoid RF radiation in the 21st century, you really have to question why you choose to live in what is one of the most densely populated urban areaa in the United States. Those low power transmitters you're targeting are really the least of your problems from a perspective of electromagnetic radiation.

You are falling for the cell industry PR. Billions of dollars are at stake and too much is being kept from the public to protect their profits.
