@hellotheresirdude There are actually many stairs like that in the game.

Sometimes the area below the stairs, and the one above it, is using the same layer in the game. If this is the case, you can't walk through it.

In this case, there are two different layers. So what happens is that I stay in the "lower layer", being below the other one.
