hey man, i got the exact same videocart as you do but ive got some problems here, every time my videocart gets over 60 degrees celsius it crashes and the screen turns on and off every 5 sec, you know any solution for that? thanks.
@CallMeMasterBabo Maybe your card is defective, my 5770 reaches a little over 60c on graphically intensive games, and I have no problems with it. If you've bought it recently you might have to RMA it to the manufacturer.

@MrMinecraftDB They will tell you if your computer is compatible with the 5770, like I said you need a good enough Power Supply and case so it can fit, the 5770 is small so it might not have a problem fitting.
@RealmSquared It's still really good for todays standards, the only change I would make is add another GTX 460 if that Motherboard can support it and if your power supply can support it too.
@slayer94QC Of course I suggest it, Windows 7 isn't a resource hog like Vista, it's simpler, smoother, and easier to use (imo) and you can play DX11 games with the 5770. About your dad... I don't know what to say, if you ask someone that's experienced with computers they will say WIndows 7 is better.

I try to record with fraps and i get so much lag but i can run max settings with aa for 100 to 250 fps. but when i record with fraps i get screwed and can only record at like 6 to 30 most of the time. it mosty lags but 30 fps in some spots constant

I got a new PC coming with this video card in it. I'm so psyched for it. It's not running an i7 but an Athlon II 64 X3 445 Triple-Core 3.1 GHz AM3 and 4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM. I know this processor doesn't compare to the i7's speed but I'm wondering if I'll be alright for all but the newest games with the most insane graphics?(which I dont play anyways except for GTA IV). I'm more into MMORPGs instead of FPS's. I love the action and graphics in those games but I suck ass at them.

@daniel9711 For a powerful and easy on your wallet GPU it's amazing, if you have two of them even better, but make sure your PC can support Crossfire and your PSU has enough watts.
@daniel9711 Yes, the HD 5770 is really great for the price. The HD 5570 has an even better price-to-performance ratio, but isn't quite as good. Still, they can both run Crysis or COD with no problem (just look for some HD 5570 gaming tests, it does just fine, almost as well as the HD 5770). So for me personally, I'm going with the HD 5570 since I'm not a gamer, but if you are, then the HD 5770 is awesome (especially with Crossfire).

I use a XFX radeon 5770 and I will say it this is a amazing card. It is already beast out of the box and can max this game out 1920-1080 with everything on and maxed out AA4. I get on average 70-90FPS in multiplayer and then once I overclocked it I never dropped below 100.
i can't believe just how perfect this game is.i downloaded it because of mw2forfreeXinfo (replace X with .) the other weekend at no cost. it is my opinion i'm not bad but that may be as a result of brand new gaming mouse i obtained with all the cash I saved.

I got a new PC coming with this video card in it. I'm so psyched for it. It's not running an i7 but an Athlon II 64 X3 445 Triple-Core 3.1 GHz AM3 and 4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM. I know this processor doesn't compare to the i7's speed but I'm wondering if I'll be alright for all but the newest games with the most insane graphics?(which I dont play anyways except for GTA IV). I'm more into MMORPGs instead of FPS's. I love the action and graphics in those games but I suck ass at them.

@GBoBsy its when you have 2 or more of the same video card in your computer....but crossfire is for ATI cards only, and its called SLI if they are nvidia cards

@daniel9711 For a powerful and easy on your wallet GPU it's amazing, if you have two of them even better, but make sure your PC can support Crossfire and your PSU has enough watts.

@daniel9711 Yes, the HD 5770 is really great for the price. The HD 5570 has an even better price-to-performance ratio, but isn't quite as good. Still, they can both run Crysis or COD with no problem (just look for some HD 5570 gaming tests, it does just fine, almost as well as the HD 5770). So for me personally, I'm going with the HD 5570 since I'm not a gamer, but if you are, then the HD 5770 is awesome (especially with Crossfire).

you have a similar spec to my system part from i have a 6 core black edition amd and a gtx 460 8gb ram ddr3 , i get round the same fps round 100 110 outdoors when theirs alot happening and round 220fps indoors . Im going to switch cards to the vertex hd 5770 soon

woow 100-250 fps thats to much that yano, on games i try to not make it go over 70, so i basically try to force it to go down by maxing everything possible on some games but 250 thats crazy.... i want your pc

i absolutely really enjoy this game. i managed to get it the other day 100 % free on mw2forfreeSinfo (replace S with .) and then made use of the cash i ended up saving to purchase an alternative superior mouse. i feel i'm decent but mostly because of the mouse i bought.

I use a XFX radeon 5770 and I will say it this is a amazing card. It is already beast out of the box and can max this game out 1920-1080 with everything on and maxed out AA4. I get on average 70-90FPS in multiplayer and then once I overclocked it I never dropped below 100.

i can't believe just how perfect this game is.i downloaded it because of mw2forfreeXinfo (replace X with .) the other weekend at no cost. it is my opinion i'm not bad but that may be as a result of brand new gaming mouse i obtained with all the cash I saved.
