@krrwasser I think it has a lot to do with the idea that it is exactly how life should still be. I mean let's honest - people knew their place, and worked hard to be the best they can be in everything - not just one thing. But they knew their boundaries. Now we push our boundaries too far, and set ourselves up for failure - crushing our own stratospheric dreams. In the day and age of Mad Men, dreams were realistic, and a picket fence was never too far away.
