i have a monster gt but for somke reason my back right wheel alwys comes loses and gets fucked up its weird all the stuff is ther but i cant tighten up to much caues it will lock up both tire eny body now whats wrong the left one is perfect

No tmaxx 3.3 can touch my mgt, i'm sorry. A small block might be faster, but try pulling weight.... The only good tmaxx is the ones that have 2 engines, or that have been custom fitted with a weed wacker engine...
Traxxas is so over-rated it's to the point of being a shame. If they are so good, why don't they put together an 1/8 scale buggy and compete with the big boys, or a 1/8 scale monster truck? They "claim" the fastest top speed. The perfect place for a monster or stadium truck, the pavement huh? Brushless touring sedans and rail cars are the rue speed kings. Where does that leave Traxxas? And just look at the piles of hop ups available for them. That should say something in itself.

I agree with camarotrader. The MGT is one of the most solid trucks i have ever run. Way better than the savage which tore itself apart every time i ran it. I scrapped it for parts.
The MGT is a beast, it takes a lot to hurt it, and it runs very well. I traded out the 18 tooth stock clutch gear for a 16 tooth one for better excelleration, but other than that, its stock, and runs perfect.

If you wanna make big jumps without replacing every part on your truck with aftermarket parts, go with the mgt, IT IS VERY TOUGH IN STOCK CONDITION. The tmaxx needs all kinds of modifications and aftermarket parts to hold up to abuse like the mgt,its a 2 spd w rev. Team associated is a racing team, Traxxas is a mass marketing company.Go with Mgt

The only thing that is similar is the A-arm shape. look at the chassis, it has no weak bulkhead design. ITS A SOLID BEAM FROM FRONT TO BACK. VERY STRONG!! and the A-arm mounts are aluminum blocks too. Traxxas likes to sell you parts, associated sells you a quality truck.
team associated does not make knockoffs, do your research. They have been in the top of rc racing for years. they delayed the sale of the mgt , just for testing and improvememt. have you owned one? It need no mods. The 3.3 tmaxx is faster off the line than a stock mgt because its lighter, but the mgt handles excellent, and all it needs is a badass motor!
how many aftermarket parts do you have on the tmaxx? I kept breaking mine on big jumps! the bulkhead design is made to break, I talked to traxxas about it. I have a tricked out tmaxx aluminum extended tmaxx also, but The mgt chassis is solid. Ill race ya anytime with my new .30 drake :p
If you put a steel servo and proline steering bellcrank. The steering problems go away. Also lighten up the car a little and the wheels turn when the car sits there no problem

Those supporting the Tmaxx, you realize you are running a small block? A car's engine? Join the big boys...
I had a savage, its too heavy and kind of difficult to work on. Although almost every lhs carried their parts.
The mgt is very reliable and easy to work with.
Hands down lays out any savage or tmaxx.

The savage tears itself apart. I had one, and much prefer the solid center peice of aluminum to the two peices of aluminum screwed together.
Anyone who has tried both will know the truth, the MGY > Savage.
