Man, I wish I could watch this in HD. The particle effects when The Fury activates his jetpack are simply phenomenal, especially for the PS2.

the fury is awsome but the fear is more scarier everyone looks for a detour on how to kill the bosses try doing it without the rotten food and with just the tranquilizer gun thats all metal gear solid 3 was awarded the best sniper sequence fight in history of a game beacuse of the end honestly they need to remake the cobra units all over again the fear and the fury are one of the best

Damn straight. This was one of the most gruesome death scenes in a video game (my opinion only). Being burned to death is one of my worst nightmares, and this scene makes me cringe, especially when he screams in agony.

To get The Fear's Camo, I had made sure I was carrying rotten/poisoned food beforehand. When he says "I'm getting hungry" I would throw the food out as quick as possible, and move away from it.

He then grabs the food, gets poisoned, vomits, and then you just need one tranquilizer gun shot to finish him.

His camo sucks though... never used it.

He constantly hogs the sniper rifle, while taunting you constantly like some annoying 13 year-old over Xbox Live.

Than, if you try and get near him, he just throws a flash grenade and runs away, laughing to himself.

The Fury is the hardest boss in the game to take down without killing him.

Really? I thought it was The Fear who was the most difficult. I always figured that with The Fury all you had to do was 3 pop-shots from the mk22 and boom, the fire camo is yours. Anyway The Fury was one of my favorite Cobras because he was so absolutly insane, but in an eloquent Shakespearian way you know? I mean he says things that R out there like, "I came back from outer space man" and "mission control, I'm coming home!" And when he dies there's two flaming faces that attak U. He's the man!
