  • When someone fights (any doctrine) you can't stay in the same place because you shall be defeated easily, therefore traditional training froms (katas, routines...) moves its pakwa (know with other names depending on martial art)

So have it in mind for next videos (even if is freestyle, it gives more dynamism and credibility) ;-)

Anyway, I love you channels vids and your partners work. Keep it on!!

    Hugs

  • I don't know what kind of teachings you have done, or if, as freestyle routine, you don't like to move your steps. In closed shots it work and keep the credibility (as the cam only takes your upper body) but in open shots it lack of aerodynamics (for people who doesn't know nothing about kung fu... for trained people is a little bit more evident...) • Ey man! Nice reel. You are in very good shape and you know how to fade movements together... BUT... you dont move your "horse" (bended knees legs position), you don't uses your pakwa (8 directions pictogram you have to "mentally draw in the floor")... [continue in next comment]

  • I think the freestyle-ness keeps him smooth and free with his own body, hence why he moves so well in his fight choreography. I have fought on-screen with shaun before and it was a blast. he is so light and smooth with his movements and totally easy to adapt to him. keep up your own style shaun.
