My niece went on a well-known TV talent show a couple of years ago (when she was 18). It was an appalling, degrading & abusive experience that has blighted her life ever since.

Her first audition went well, but then a male ‘producer’ took her into a back room where he promised her success on the show if she performed fellatio on him. Believing his lies, she agreed. Sadly, he turned out to be just a studio engineer, & she went out in the next round. She’s needed counselling ever since.
