  • wow the ending was amazing

  • Wow, the last shot was the best.

The egg practically didn't move! =D

  • whats the background music called

  • It's the William Tell Overture, aka "The Lone Ranger Theme"

  • it changes alot , on this forum called 'spudfiles' people can reach mach1 using hybrid launchers and steel bb's

  • the ending is AWESOME

  • mhm... but 100fps is a little to slow, that's how fast you throw?? :O

  • Yes, but much faster and the ball would be a blur, which is not to be desired. The bottom line is, that was how fast my spud-gun was firing the golf-balls.

  • i wished they come out with a 2000fps model, or even 4000.

anyways wat's the muzzle velocity of the projectile?

  • It depended on how much hairspray propellant was used and how well the wadding worked, but >100 feet per second easy.

  • if i observe correctly, the propellant blow by the projectile out the muzzle before the projectile's exit?

  • Yes; the wet paper wadding I used did not make a perfect seal.

  • u meen 1000 feet per second easy?? :)

  • No, 100. 1000fps is bullet speed.

You can estimate the speed by looking at how far the golf ball moves per frame on the really skinny shots and multiplying that distance by 1200. So if the ball moves 1 inch per frame, it was going at 100fps.

  • fuck

  • pwn

  • finnaly something that is actully "high speed"

not a gay 30fps played back at 2 fps

    thats not high speed

    but

    this is

    5/5 star

  • What's with the extremely wide aspect ratio? Did you have an anamorphic lens on there or something?

  • The exilim has different aspect ratios depending on the speed selected. 300fps is roughly a SD-resolution video image, 600 is a widescreen presentation, and 1200 is a strip. It's a limitation of the number of pixels per second the camera can read, compress, and store on the memory card. 1200 fps = 4x300 fps, so 1/4th of the number of pixels per frame.

  • Nice video ! 5 stars

  • what is the name music please? TY, 5 star!

  • It is the William Tell Overture, by Rossini, best known by many as the theme to the Lone Ranger show.

  • Thank´s you!!! very nice!

  • What is the music please?, the name, TY 5 star!

  • lol last one was best

  • the chickens will be sad when they hear about that lol

    :(

  • Completely random observation: the after-effects of hitting the egg (?) at high velocity looks a lot like the spaghettification of nebulae in outer space. Show this to NASA :)

  • What's with the mass of water? And the wadding? Seems to be an air pressure gun, in which you would need to stop your wadding before it gets more than about a foot from the barrel. Try a plastic insert with a string you hold on to. Works a charm.

  • Very nice...lots to be done with spud guns: or as I called them when used in my college physical science class: "mass accelerators" LOL

    PotatoGunsRule

  • yeah, I liked it too.

  • awesome! a match made in heaven (EX-F1 plus ballistics that is)

    love the last shot
