  • the hiv test is cross-reactive and pregnancy, among many other conditions, can cause a positive result. the hiv test only tests for proteins. AIDS is a syndrome consisting of diseases that have already been identified, so maybe we should not lump them into the category of AIDS, but rather separately identify them as not to cause social stigma for the individual and provide the necessary compassion for them as a human being.
