you cant possibly compare eddie to rhoads to totally diiferent styles , both fantastic players / songwriters , randy has always been an idol to me a very very beautiful player
Any conspiracy theories out there about Randy's death? ie Don or Sharon Arden? Randy wanted to leave the band at the time of his passing. Maybe the thought was he was getting too much press over Ozzy. I wonder if anything on Bark at the Moon was written by Randy (BATM kind of sounds like a Randy riff with sus4 chords). It's all about publishing and royalties for Ozzy and Sharon. I read that Don Ardent didn't like Randy and had quite the reputation. Joe Lynn Turner said this driver scared him.

Hmm... this is a damn good version of this solo. I'm so used to the Tribute version. I just love how the classical part seems to sound like a cello for some reason. So amazing. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the documentary for sure!
you will probably be happy to know that there will be brand new footage and never-seen pictures in the upcoming Randy Rhoads Documentary by Peter Margolis
it hasn't been released yet, the official release date according to the films website is Sept. 2009... but due to some disruptions it will probably be released sometime in 2010

well there is supposed to be new footage coming in a box set that Ozzy is releasing, i have read about Zakk Wylde watching it and he said it was pro shot so it should be awesome.
