  • @Adam141516 I believe the initial investment for this was around $250,000. The addition of more trackage increased that number.

  • Is that your rabbit or a wild rabbit? it was funny. But very very nice layout.

  • Did you see the SIZE of that rabbit on the tracks... as big as a locomotive!!!

  • ATTACK OF THE LEPUS!!!!

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!! INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL !!!

THIS IS A VERY PLEASANT SCENIC PANARAMIC TRAIN RIDE,

FILLED WITH ABUNDANT FLORA AND FAUNA. I WAS PLEASANTLY

SURPRISED TO SEE THE RABBIT HIDDENING IN THE TUNNEL.

VERY REMINISCENT OF " ALICE IN WONDERLAND ".

  • I hope he did not recharge them for that. I have photos showing how bad it had gotten. Our club wanted to help but couple members was run off. I want to see the hobby grow. But I was very disoppointed in the first RR. Love the concepts, but the structure was bad.

I was a volteer for awhile but I work so much in summer.

  • Just ran across this video, very well done. Wonder how well the roadbed has held up after a coupld of winters?

I need to find time to get back up there , busy busy.

    Marty NE City

  • @NTCGRR Marty, I believe that most, if not all, of the trackbed was rebuilt this year. I know a few of the guys worked really hard or getting the trains back to running smoothly. The bridges were torn up and rebuilt by Busse's crew this year as well.

How is your railroad doing? Made any expansions since last fall?

  • Yes I Do, I Live In St.Louis, Missouri

  • 2:20 bunny

  • rabbits! AHHA HA HA HA HA HA HA RABBITS!

  • a freaking rabbit lol do they ever derail trains

  • Very nice. You are lucky that the giant rabit did not attack the train. lol

  • That train track looks so realistic and rustic. What a beautiful work of art.

  • I went there this past Sunday, its a pretty amazing displeay and really great to watch. I can only imagine how many hours and hours and hours x infinity.... it took to put all of that together. But its an awesome display!

  • wow that must have took a long time to build. nice job!

  • hell good

i need to wait 2 months till i can get mone out!

  • hey thares a bunney as we enter the tunnel

  • ok just wondern thx

  • what happens if it gets rained on

  • Nothing, the trains are built for the outdoors. We usually bring them inside so they don't get dirty, but in a light rain I will still run them. Typically no one is at the gardens in the rain, so I might turn a few off and do some maintenance. Otherwise the trains run eight hours a day, everyday, from May 1st to October 1st.

  • lol I was wondering about how large the trains were till I saw the bunny...or maybe it was bunnyzilla

  • The trains are 1:24 scale. They are very large and heavy!

  • do you live in St. Louis Missouri

  • No; Omaha, NE

  • @AyTrane who makes the trains do you know if Lionel or LGB is water proof if not how would i get started on my garden railway by choosing the right train

  • @kd5lpr

These trains are mostly USA Trains or Aristocraft. If you want to learn more about getting started with a garden railroad, mylargescale com has some good information.

  • haha a bunny
