@Bhanshe either. A knife could be good for cutting out detail, scissors i recommend for cutting out the form, and a dull knife could be good to help with folding.

@DIGITALXxXDRAGON yes it possible to resin computer paper, but i don't recommend using computer paper. cardstock won't cave as easily as normal paper would. some people have been successful with normal paper but have complained about the difficulty of using it. give it a try if you want :)

@DarkZero375 it is rather difficult, but what you want to do is first reinforce the inside with cardboard in most of the helmet (tedious and takes forever) then you can use the hot glue method or the fiberglass method THEN resin the outside. doing these things before should stop it from caving in if you do it right

coating it in resin does not constitute "fiberglassing" it. you actually need to use fiberglass. so you coated with resin, and let it cure and harden. which means i could poke a hole in it with a pencil :-)

Get Pepakura Viewer, go to pepakura . c o m (no spaces), search the file that you want to make (e.g. a Master Chief helmet) and once you've found the right file, download it.

After doing that, open the Pepakura Viewer once you've installed it and open the file with Pepakura Viewer. Once you're done, print the paper (aka pepakura stuff) and glue 'em together.

It's complicating.
