Avenged Sevenfold do not try to project a big image at all. They have a HUGE fan base, and everything they do is for their fans, they don't like the idea of being too big, because that's when bands start heading downhill, so think of Avenged as a prolonged rise instead of a blow it all on one peak and then fall from the top and hit rock bottom. They won't do that for a while, they aren't even at their best yet.
