Just to clear things up..........The footage is shot at speeds from about 500 to 2500. We vary the shutter angle to accommodate the subject velocity. If the exposure is too long, it will result in image blur. If it is too short, it will result in a pixelatted look or a chattering of the image caused from sharp images with too much displacement. The shutter was varied from 360 degrees down to as low a 45 degrees if I remember correctly. We used a 58,000 watt light.
@jknamu When shooting 48fps a 360º shutter, it is open the same amount of time as 180º shutter at 24fps, they both come out to be 1\48th sec. if you do the math at 500fps there is no way you have any threat of over exposing. in reality you need allot of light at these speeds, this is why we use 5K lights and super speed lenses.

@xxpreoxx i think its 180 shutter man...but these instruments can push the shutter to even 360....the one that digital high speeds cant...
