@Hitman2754 I disagree, shall the U.S. defended for the rest of the first half after taking a two goal lead, keeping possesion of the ball, they would have had a better chance. All of Mexico's goals except the last one, which was from Dos Santos, were because they caught the United States on the break. With only three defenders as a backline, they pretty much asked to be scored on. I was hoping they would do a 4-5-1 or a 5-4-1 formation like against Argentina, but it did not happen.

Will the Mexicans shut up when we win Concacaf again and advance further than them in the WC? Probably not, but one can hope. We dominated them the last decade and I see no different going forward. Go Go Go USA.

2011 started off pretty well, I was at the Chile game and seeing Agudelo and Burnbury and the rest of the young guys play so well in the 2nd half gave some hope for a good year. Then the good result against Argentina then though we got to the Gold Cup final we played terribly, just scraping by some pretty terrible teams and losing to Panama and Mexico then of course the stupid loses to Costa Rica, Ecuador and Belgium. Though after the Slovenia game I have high hopes for 2012
