  • lol skull!

  • A skull?

  • Scared the crap out of me. I thought it was one of those "sound" recordings of a neutron star when, out of the blue, it started talking very loudly. I'm not too proud to admit that I jumped.

  • Neutron stars emit gamma ray bursts when they are formed, they have unbelievable power. Earth is staring down the gun barrel of a star ready to emit such a gamma ray burst. it will literally vapourise the planet, it's not a question of if but it's a question of when :)

  • ok, dont tell anyone but i dont think this guy is talking english, if so, than he aint to good at it

  • its called pulsar

  • badass

  • i believe in god

  • i can just say that u can be a small example of creator, u can create many things but with no souls but u don't expect her to be like u, eat and drink and die. when u create a car u never imagine that the car must think or do what exactly u do. because u die u think that ur go must di, what is applicable to is not applicable to the car u made

  • how miraculous universe it is, teemed with regularity and hidden secrets, this miraculous universe didn't come to existence from nothing, there must be a God, what a well-made universe

  • @jafarkhawaja It'll never stop though, Universe came from nothing, or god. If god, then God came from...... nothing? or another God?

We could skip a step and say the Universe came from nothing, or we could add a step and say God came from nothing. Or we can say both were always there... Simply because its here doesn't imply a creator, Inside this universe it does, you see a watch, it implies a creator, but outside the universe everything changes.

  • @sacr3 Magic. Can't explain magic. JUST LIKE GOD... *facepalm the size of the universe*

  • @Zandonus Magic itself doesn't exist, so what you said is pointless

  • @sacr3 Are you like on drugs? of course magic exists... Doesn't even need proof, doesn't even need a damn exception, doesn't even need GOD to exist. If YOU don't believe in magic, there's nothing stopping anyone in believing in magic. .. And those damn pixies up in the closet, i HATE those little monsters. Always leaving a mess. Everyone pretends they don't see them. I tell them !!! ... bastards.

  • @Zandonus lol what

  • it looks so pretty must poke O3o

  • So the surface on a Neutron star is supposed to a "billion" times stronger than steel, a billion time stronger.. Just wow!

  • Wthat is language Namibia,or african

  • @myniol It's Korean mixed with a very healthy dose of static.

  • this sounds like some russian guy speaking japanese

  • sauron XD

  • wth, the thing says Go Upgrade even I just did.

  • Bela merda!

  • the universe is strange. almost looks like an eye.

  • at the very begining the first 3 seconds, it looks like a skull

  • I saw that to.

  • @nightofear i agree.

  • @locarbapplesauce i agree too. nah just kidding bro. it's weird, it does look like a skull.

  • that startled me i had my volume loud

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLuigiluigi888 LOL, it got me too.

  • @TheLuigiluigi888 LOL same XP

  • @TheLuigiluigi888 hahaha same : )

  • @TheLuigiluigi888 Same here, Lol

  • Damn it. It's like heart beating!

  • wow!!!!

  • crab nebula

  • No You.

  • WOW

  • black holes are mutations also.

  • malfunction of a star, and junk remains. nothing more.

  • no not really . neutron stars to my humble knowledge, are formed after a supernova ,which means after the death of a massive star , it is so condenced that the space between atoms almost doesnt exist , it has usually the size of a planet but the a gravitational power of big size star and sometimes even more , for me it is more like a failled black hole or not enough gravity to reach the point of being of black hole , hopefully someone with enough knowldge will gives more details.

  • Yea, you're absolutely correct. Normally atoms consist mostly of empty space (a mile if the subatomic particles were the size of marbles) but the intense gravity and pressure of iron trying to be fused in the core of a Super Giant Star would crush the atoms so hard into each other despite electrons repelling electrons during a Supernova that only neutron degeneracy can stop them from going any further. The pressure needed to crush neutrons together is equal to a black hole.

  • Furthermore, the surface of a Neutron Star is solid. Despite being as massive as our Sun, it could all be crammed into a size smaller than a city on Earth with one teaspoon weighing 10 million tons.

I wouldn't call this a malfunction or junk as much as one of the most extreme and final stages of some of the most massive stars in the universe. A little more massive and even neutron degeneracy wouldn't be able to stop the crushing of all that mass into a single point in space, like a singularity.

  • You are pretty much right. What keeps a star from collapsing is thermodynamic pressure, which needs the energy produced by nuclear fusion, yet the fusion of iron and heavier elements is endothermic so there is nothing else to keep gravity from making it collapse. There is a point where the electrons are merged with the protons making neutrons. What keeps it from becoming a black hole is the neutron degeneracy which can only be understood by quantum mechanics. Look for Pauli exclusion principle.

  • are you telling us in Korean that neutron stars are actually invented by you people?

  • Haha, than this must be in their secret spacelab orbiting alpha centauri

  • KOREAN!

  • A Neutron star is the remains of a supernova which has exploded and then died out. Fun Fact: 1 Gram of your snot on earth would weigh approximately 1 million tonnes on an average sized neutron star (15-20KM) . Oh by the way im only eleven

  • And yet you've already learned how to alienate people...

  • hmmm what's a neutron star?

  • a neutron star is the connection between white dwarf and black hole, they are objects so dense that they have forced the protons and electrons together to form neutrons, thus its name a neutron star. it is basically a giant atom of neutrons, if a neutron star were to gain enough mass, it would collapse further and further till the normal laws of physics fall apart and the laws of quantum gravity kick in as the mass falls inward into a singularity something that has infinite density.

  • The Star has a weird accent

  • is he chinese?

  • russian, I think...

  • KOREAN!

  • chinese, japanese..its some asian language..

  • KOREAN!

  • KOREAN!!

  • Are these all neutrons? Thats very interesting...

  • yep, all neutrons, or rather, mostly neutrons.

  • Brasil!!!!!

    é Pele!!!!

    Ronaldinho Gaucho

    Ronaldo

    Kaká

    Pato

    Adriano

    Zico

    Julio Cesar

  • issu eh uma bosta!!!!!

  • I don't think there is any such a thing called black hole.

    B/C

You can't not see it. feel it. eat it. play with it. touch it. or even thinking it. cuz nobody knows or seen or felt or ate or played or died by or ...etc..

    There's absolutley no proof.

  • You can't see, feel, touch gamma radiation, but it's there.

  • black holes block out the light from the stars that are behind them, so in a way you can see them... they are very black, and they are in black space, so it makes them seem invisable

  • You can feel gamma rays. They freaking hurt!

The thing about black holes is that they are holes in the fabric of gravity. Once something gets past a point known as the "event horizon," it would have to go faster than the speed of light to escape. Since that is impossible, nothing can escape.

Light cannot reach our eyes if it's pulled in by a black hole. And you can tell where one is by the activity around it.

  • holes in the fabric of gravity is not exactly what i would use

  • I think you're very brave to write something like that. I disagree, though - I fully accept what sience has told us about black holes as being true.

You're perfectly entitled to your own opinions on this. I, myself, would not simply dimiss something on account of having never experienced it.

  • There's plenty of proof. They effect everything around them and can be quantified and verified visually and mathematically.

  • thats why its called "black hole" bcuz you cant see it within dark space idiot..you would only be able to see it through different infrared images, to say if you had your on Hubble Telescope is the only way.

  • There are ways to see if black holes are there. One way is that they suck in light so they distort everything that is behind them.

  • We cannot 'see' what is at the center of our galaxy, causing it to swirl in on itself in the way it does. There are many stars whose movements are seemingly erratic, as the source of their perturbed motion cannot be 'seen': However, it would be a most un-scientific stance to accept that these movements are caused by nothing simply because 'we can't see it.' There are any number of ways I could explain to you that basing that which is real or not on your subjective experience is utterly ignorant

  • No shit!

  • i know this is a month late but seriously man, do a little research before you put such things forward. they prooved that these things are real because of the motion of objects around them, massive stars that appear to circle nothing at high velocities, sometimes approaching the speed of light. the only conclusion that can be made is an object so dense it could only be a black hole, we can't see it but the gravity can be seen workin on the stuff around it

  • In fact thre is proof of black holes, we have seen quite a few of them in space ;)

  • you cant see them, but more like detect them, unless your talking about blackholes in our society....

  • my bad, a stupid anology ,no you cant see them, but detect them :)

  • wow, there is something so fascinating about this to me. Ive never been a astronomer or cared about things of this nature but the Neutron star has some how captivated me. Its is true that artronomy rules, theres somethingabout the unknown that makes life interesting.

  • extremely fascinating, very interesting

  • is that a black hole?? in the middle part of it

  • this reply is a little late. lol. any no, its a nuetron star, neutron stars may look like them but they are not simply because you wouldn't be able to see a black hole, unless it was near another star, nuetron stars are visible no matter the situation

  • they are speaking Egypt

  • terrorist talk....arabic

  • Is this language spoken Japanese?

  • its korean

  • Lol for a second it sounded german.

  • MOVE AWAY FROM THE MICRAPHONE D=

  • good imagery

  • okay what the fuck is this guy smoking and why aint he sharing

  • I'm sure I saw a skull in the very beginning. o_O

    But it was beautiful.

  • yeah, a skull will pop up if you come to close to one of these.

  • woh...dude

  • Lol, me too.

  • What's the name of the science program/show that this is from?

  • oh ya its korean

  • The beginning of this video freaked me out and it looked like the floating head of Satan with evil droning sounds. Also I could be wrong but I believe that language may be Korean.

  • Also. If a neutron star came to Earth. The Earth would wrap around it and would form a layer no thicker then your thumb!

  • these things are creepy and they have some insane weight when I learned that one teaspoon of neutron star weighs 15 billion tons that was enough to freak me out. This might sound like a braindead question but what would happen if you actually tried to pick this teaspoon size amount of a neutron star up with your hand would it just snap lol or would it be like trying to pick a bus up to no avail. ;p

  • I just learned about these in class. My professor informed us that a tablespoonful of neutron star matter would weigh about 2 billion tons.

If you could actually pick this up and drop it, the matter would fall right through earth and pop out the other side, going back and forth until friction made it settle in the core.

  • omg thats really intresting! its like playing pong on earth :P

  • at the very beginning it looks a little like a skull.

  • it does

  • i was thinking the same thing

  • our brains are genetically hardwired to see patterns / faces like this. face on mars face on the moon the face in my breakfast this morning :)

  • not really hard wired, we just see faces and skulls every day so we are used to see them in everything.

  • I disagree, when the parts of the brain that deal with face recognition are damaged, a person can lose their ability to recognise or even percieve facesis lost and all they see is a blur. it is a form of aphasia. It is a specific region that deals with this and it is the same region in every human, which suggests it is not something that is learned but is present from the day we are born. someone with this form of aphasia would not recognise the face on mars,or in their corn flakes :)

  • well, the brain is not completely researched and the way it truly works is exactly unknown, most of the knowledge about brain is guess and theories, but we do have some true knowledge about it that is implied mostly in brain surgery. if we had exact knowledge we would be able to cure alot of brain conditions like dementia or memory loss.

  • good on you! :)

  • newly discovered. there is a new type of neutron star called a magnetar

  • what is this shit?

  • something you obiviously dont understand!

  • uh huh. i know it, i just don't believe it.

  • its beutiful!

  • a reflection of your mentality.

  • ooooooooo.....intresting

  • 어머, 진짜 재미있다! 감삽니다:)

  • because it is not called englishtube.

  • because usa it´s not the entire world!?!??!

  • Becuse the site is owned by a US company? and orginaly marketed as english site?, Not making a excuse for the people bitching about non english videos just stateing why they could be bitching. it would be like me going to a korean site and posting only english or to a dutch site and posting only japanese.

  • 'twas but a rhetorical question to allclass29

  • and so what if you did?

  • because youre a fucking son of a BITCH... Stupid asshole!

  • It's korean you morons.

  • It's Turkish. How do i know? i heard the ortunun and ****(something)da

  • nop its not russian , chinese =) ???

  • No habla Russian dude!!

  • Give Sub Titles in English

  • Japanese ftw :P

  • What's ftw??? I'm south korean man..

  • for the winner

  • for the win
