That's cool! There's this little kid that has started a "be straw-free" movement to eliminate plastic straws from our society bc of the huge environmental impact that plastic straws have on the environment. Pretty cool alternative ;)

I find that hot beverages through glass straws are better than through a plastic sippy hole that you find on coffee to go cups. Actually, the fluid cools slightly as it moves

up the straw. The glass straw does warm up but slowly compared to plastic or *shudder* metal straws. Obviously, the hot drink should not be too hot to taste (common sense applies).

Oh ... & TASTE! Glass! Way better, hot or cold drinks! Nothing compares on the taste!
