@XInfinity5104 - oh, it's a big orange box, no doubt about it! That's one of the strengths, for me, however. I can stack things higher, without the slope that most vehicle roofs have. I've grown to really love the shape of the Element - I liked the Ford Flex too, but it was out of my price range.
@DtoWnSux1 - the main problem is the HUUUUUGE blind spot, especially when the seats are folded flat against the windows. I always lean forward before making any manouers on that side, to see there's nothing coming.
@ScottishDeeJay Blind spot? I have an element, I haven't noticed any huge blind spot. I mean yeah when the seats are up over the windows, of course. But when they're down, visibility is fantastic...
is it all wheel drive? These are cool, top heavy but it's like a crv with a bigger engine and slightly larger wheelbase. If it is AWD get new tires that have good knobby grip. I run mine off road regularly and have never had any problems, drives like new.
@LeonRFpoa - yup, real time AWD, which was one of the reasons for getting one. Here in Wisconsin it gets pretty snowy in Winter. I don't off-road particularly but it handles icy conditions very well, I find.
Nice car! My ex-girlfriend was DJing out of a Civic coupe (absurd!) and I tried too get her into one of these, but she was having none of it! Love em' or hate em' I guess. Great road trip car as well!
@MrLolypop55 Remember, I know who you are and therefore I KNOW who is the VERY BEST at judging "GAY". Go back to greasing up your roommate and stay off of YT!!
I laughed when I read all the comments on this. I have always told my friends that this car was built for DJs! Still use mine today to haul all the gear in. The superb factory sound system keep me rocking to a from gigs as well.
Nice vehicle for the DJ. Congratulations on your car. I'm glad you liked it and hope you enjoy it for a long time. I drive a 2006 scion xb and just put my rear seats down for all of my dj gear.
Hey Luis, thanx for commenting. So far it drives great - very car, not truck-like. I'll do more of a road test when I load it up this weekend for my wedding.
I hate to say it, but many US cars are just not as well made as Japanese or German models. Maybe we should lose a world war or 2 to revive our car making skills!
As for putting a business logo on, I'm considering getting a vehicle magnet with my logo so that I am visible sometimes then removing it when I don't want lowlifes stealing my gear.
Too many scumbags in the world for me to advertise my business 24/7 on the truck.
I find those cars to be very boxy, dont you?

Nice ride Al! I think I will stick with my mini van though, as much as I hate the fact I drive one, you can fit soooooo much stuff in it. :)

Nelly the Element. Nice.:)
Alan, nice motor. Similar in size to my Citroen Picasso space wise. I like the seat arrangement.
Love the plate as well. Cracking.
I only wish our damn fuel prices matched what you are paying..... along with the road tax, servicing costs.....blah blah blah.
Regards,
Paul.

Congratulations for your new Car,
wish you good luck and fun with it.
Have you though about to finish the Paint with a Nano Fluid? If you do that, you can clean the car only with water or with a rain shower.

Hehe, thanks Michael. Like I said when I first saw it a couple years back I didn't like it but now I think it's got a lot of charisma for what it is.

great vid m8 and very nice car the seats are useful because you can still take the family out but in a van you couldnt.

Yup. There wasn't a better option that had the following 4 requirements.
1.All-wheel drive capability
2.Mid 20's gas mileage
3.Big enough for all my gear
4.Under $24,000
All that plus a jack for my iPod and XM Radio and I'm a happy boy! Thanks for the comments.
