@MadSnake123 He walled off three times, two times it directly cost him the game. One time indirectly because he couldn't move out fast enough to defend against the harass.

Seriously, there are games where I feel like destroying the gateway that walled me off against zerg in late game just to deal better with the muta harass. Walling off is a ridiculously short term mindset that only helps you in the first 4 minutes of the game or something. It's just that zerg can kill you if you don't.

@lord0f69 Don't confuse being a "top" caster with being a "popular" caster. The top casters are the ones that never miss any action, almost always know what a player's angling for and why he's making certain decisions, and can really evaluate games every step of the way. Popular casters just get a lot of views.

HD and Husky are popular casters, sure, but it's insulting to someone like Day 9 to suggest that HD or Husky are top casters.

People created this term...cheese, for innovative strategies that defy the norm because they're so set in stone that BW macro play style is the ONLY way to play this game. This is a game of strategy where winning is your one and only goal, how you get to that doesn't make a difference.

To be honest though, that wasnt a cheese. Whitera saw Goody go maurader heavy, so he transitioned into voidrays. It was just a hard counter.

hey guys i just have a quick starcraft question that id like to ask if anyone can give me any tips. i play as protoss and i am pretty new to the game but im not that bad. my only problem is, is whenever i fight terran players i find that whatever i do i cant stop them from completly building up and totally stocking their main with seige tanks and bunkers and stuff lik that and everytime i even try to get close they just tear me apart. if anyone has any tips i would aprreciate it alot

@TheUltimateDare try phoenixes to lift the siege tanks while ur main forces storm the front, without the siege tank, the terran strong hold will be that much weaker

like others said, drops in the back of the base is viable too

colossi with lance can shoot down the building of the wall from a safe distance

if he really turtles up and doesnt move out, a mother ship with mass recall right in the main can be pretty devastating, specially if u can follow with a vortex on the ran main armie

@TheUltimateDare if they are turtling that hard you cannot attack them directly, you could possibly harass like whitera did in game 2 or do something of that sort but you will not be able to attack them head on. you can take that opportunity to assume map control since siege tanks are so immobile and try to expand a third while terran is only on two bases. if your guys macro is on the same level, with a third base protoss will surely win.

@TheUltimateDare if your opponent sits around in his base with siegetanks then you should not engage him. If he does not move out, then use that time to expand and get a better economy. Wait for him to come to you, that is much bettwer than trying to force the win.

Not that Goody used Ghosts or EMPs in either of the previous two matches, but did you see his mech get owned by the mobility of some blink stalkers? The first was just a series of mistakes on Goody's part, can't really say the first was based on unit abilities or statistics.

IDK that I'd say they're imbalanced simply because I don't like them the most myself. I play random, I'm diamond. I'm OK with Terran, but much better with Zerg and even better with Toss.

Commented before I had even watched the video. 1 production facility from terran gave 1 production facility from protoss trouble, NOT 3! Lol! By the time 2 and 3 were finished the attack had been cleaned up by the 1 gateway.

Those three alone, most likely without the stargate would have made for a real close match against Goody's 3 higher-tech production buildings.

With the SG and void it was no contest.
