When I first saw this movie in 1970, I fell in love with Diana Rigg so that it caused problems between my girlfriend and me that were never reconciled. Oh, well ... Diana, where are you now, sweetheart??
The scene in the movie where both characters stroll hand-in-hand through the tree blossom is a beautiful accompaniment to this equally beautiful song.
have loved this film, this couple, and this singer, composer and song from my first viewing of ohmss on its release, but I've never seen these images, thank you so much!
How ironic....this song was in one of Daniel Craig's movie..i can't recall the title...being a James Bond movie song and Daniel Craig is the current James Bond..
i like george lazenby as James Bond too..his only problem was he did not sign a long time contract when he did this movie...at the advice of his agent...his biggest regret...
@Sandgrownun77 maybe I am your future husband then because I was just thinking that as I was listening to this song :D Then again I think alot of people are likely to consider it!
I have to agree with Leonard Maltin - if Connery had been in the film, it would have been the best of the movies. As it stands, I still really enjoy it, and don't think it deserved the bad rap it (at least) used to get.
i enjoyed this film, i have a hunch that the reason why he got axed as bond was cause the way Lazenby protrayed bond, in this film u saw a more caring side who was interested in 1 woman and the other films that side to bond wasnt shown as much so im guessing the film makers wanted to pick up on the womaniser side of bond more. even though Lazenby did a gr8 job as bond
IMO this song has tremendous emotional impact. Say, instead of Lazenby and Rigg in these pictures---put Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and I bet most of the viewers would be in tears by the end of the song. Goldfinger was a classic, but I would rather listen to this one.
George Lazenby was never trained by Bruce Lee. Notwithstanding, the story goes that he was set to do a movie with the Greatest One until Lee's death put the idea to rest (pardon the pun). This and For Your Eyes Only are my two favourite Bond movie themes (yes, this is considered the main theme even though it is not at the beginning of the movie).
Definately one of the three best films in the franchise, along with Goldfinger, and Casino Royal. Bond is actually portrayed as vurnable in this film!
Personally for me this was THE best Bond couple in the series and maybe the most believeable although Craig and Eva Green come in a close second (in my opinion)
Very well done. Lazenby should have stayed on at least for two or three additional films; Diamands are Forever, Live and Let Die, and having once studied with
Bruce Lee, Man with the Golden Gun featured some martial arts scenes that
verry beautifull song. armstrong was one of the best, ever. rip.

Thumbs up if you want Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, and Brosnan to do cameos in Craig's BOND!

Lazenby was the best Bond.

This is one of the top "first dance" songs at weddings. Ironic, considering how the movie ends.
I'd love to do this in karaoke, but I keep crying.

Lazenby did a good job no question but better than Connery?? The guy was dubbed during a major portion of the film.

The even Bonds Lazenby, Dalton, and Craig, much better than the odd Bonds, you know the other three. They gave him a vulnerable side.

One of the most romantics songs to emerge from James Bond Movies.
It portrays the warmth and seriousness of James' love to Tracey.
