  • I have one and I use an Ice Storm for my spare (both 14 lbs)

  • The Storm Prodigy is awesome if you want a ball that can get quite the hook on it :)

  • i got my prodigy now- and JEEEZ! im finding it pretty hard to control it, im pushing it right out but it's still coming back in to brookie or further- any tips on how to help control it??

  • im planning on getting Storm Prodigy and a Victory Road for my next 2 balls along with a spare ball, got a 152 average, but thats dipped alot recently- im currently bowling with an evil siege but looking to move away from brunswick- you guys think this is a good idea?

  • Norm Duke's signature ball

  • ANGEL VIVALDI isTHE BEST

  • hy-road is way better

  • I need help deciding between a "Storm Prodigy" ball or a "Motiv GT1", any advice?

  • Why does no one bowl on the outside?

  • Hi, I am in a PBA expirence league and I was wondering whould this be a good patern for any of those patterns? which one would match up perfect and what layout for that pattern?

  • ive had problems with storm balls dying alot faster than the hammer balls ive owned storms are amazing for like 2 months but then their dead they make good tourney balls where your throwing them only a couple games every other week or every month

  • @1g0tm4dsk1llz Are you cleaning them after every use? That is pretty much essential. The coverstock is pretty much like a dry sponge to start, and it soaks up oil (as that is what makes it grip....put simply). Just like a sponge, it eventually can't really absorb much more oil. Cleaning you ball after every use will help remove oil from the coverstock preventing this from happening. Once it inevitably does occur, you can have the ball resurfaced or baked at a pro shop.

  • @gamemeister27 yeah cleaning after every set it just seems my hammer balls last a little longer but they both make great equipment

  • I was wondering i have a bit of a slower shot ranging from 12 -13 mph with the prodigy what would you recommend for drilling?

  • This ball is amazing!! I'm a starter two-handed bowler, I started around 5 months ago, and I just got this ball as my second strike ball as I needed a heavier strike ball. The second day I had it, I had broken my high game and got a 235! My average is only 148! Then today, the third day I've had it, I bowled 3 games, 204, 248 (ANOTHER NEW HIGH!), and a 203! A 655 series, my first 600 series as well as a high game! A strongly recommend this ball for anyone who believes they are ready for it!

  • Hello, i am a sophomore. this is my first year to really start bowling. (the high school leagues started late november) I'm looking for a new ball that I might start using before next season (i'm thinking i might get it during the summer) I use a storm tropical heat, my average is about a 160 and i want something with alot more umf... Ive been looking into the prodigy, the marvel or the virtual energy... would you mind helping me? :)

  • I'm 16 years old and I bowled 3 300 games with this ball. It is amazing!!!

My first was in practice, the second in a tournament, and the third in a high school match.

  • first question what is the hook rate of the storm prodigy. i average 190, i have the storm invasion and storm reign, i throw the ball with some revs but very few and i i want a ball i can stand about middle dot and shoot between 2nd and 3rd arrow, would the prodigy be the ball im looking for, or could you recommend something for me please. thank you

  • @joepic the invasion was the worst ball ive ever bought. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The prodigy is one of the best balls I've used but I've heard good things about pure physics as well

  • some help i want a new bowling ball i have a virtual gravity, swagga, and a playmaker(i never use it) im a stroker with a 190+ average. i was looking at the marvel but idk what to get

  • hey, i am looking for a new bowling ball but idk what to choose... i am a tweener bowler with a a 191 average. i now use a storm virtual gravity (14lbs) a storm hyroad (14lbs) and a white ball spare ball (14lbs). if any one can help on key points or advise that would help a lot. thanks.

  • @theprinceofrock11 The Prodigy would fit nicely between the VG and Hy-Road and be a nice contrast!

  • @theprinceofrock11 We think the Prodigy would be perfect for you! It will be a nice step up from your Heat and will allow you to take your game to the next level! As for getting better, we definitely recommend that you work with a certified coach.

  • @bowlingballcom thanks ill look towards it. another question my house is very dry and hard to play sometimes with these high hooking balls. whats a good ball you would say that is low end but still gets the job done?

  • @theprinceofrock11 i'd say if you are looking for something less aggressive than a hy-road, but still gets the job done, then you should look towards a tropical heat. its extremely affordable and is still hooks pretty well. if you want something smaller than that, (which i doubt since that would be a huuugge jump down from what you have) id say natural or natural pearl(which are my two favorite balls for short patterns)

  • @codeman9010 thanks i was looking for a more agressive cause i travel and my virtual energy is dead. the lanes i go to are mad heavy oil so im getting the taboo. and also i have the hyroad and i down right love it.

  • i have this bowling ball it is the best 1 i have had yet it is well worth getting this

  • You finish waaay better with the invasion

  • whats the difference of a symmetric core and a Asymmetric core?

  • @Reloadnikka this will help you im sure, even if you have already found some information of the differences between the two:

    amsbowlingproshop /articles/show/43-Core_Technology_101_An_Analysis_of_Spherical_Symmetrical_and_Asymmetrical_Core_Design

  • getting this ball

  • getting this ball soon

  • Not a bad ball. Took a while to get used to throwing Storm equipment as apposed to Ebonite. Still need a 2nd ball in case of machine damage or if the lanes start to break down. Any suggestions

  • ANARCHY!!!!

  • need help. storm prodigy, storm virtual energy, or storm invasion. I know throw a brunswick fury pearl and play to the right and throw from 1st to second arrow. Want to play with more hook help, which one?

  • @WereHungryFilms Any of these balls will give you much more hook than your Fury Pearl. We would suggest the Prodigy since you've already got a ball with polish. The matte finish of the Prodigy will give you a different look.

  • theres no way the second guy is only 195

  • It looks like it reacts alot like my Reign of Fire..

  • Is this at someone's house? If so How much did it cost to have everything put in?I want it!!!

  • great to see Congdon back

  • Wow John's release is way much better!!! he really improved

  • why does this ball seem to die out alot in order to slap out the ten? Is it the lane conditions on this particular day or the ball overall??

  • Im not saying that i prefer ebonite over storm. Infact i like Storm.Storm is one the best selling bowlingball companys today, but I dont see why you don't have any newer video's of Hammer, Ebonite, Columbia 300. On your channel, and I did notice that you dont have any Track videos. All and all I know Storm is a large percent of the market, but Hammer, Columbia 300, Track, and Ebonite are all a good chunk of the market also.

  • John's release got a lot better!

  • lol love ur videos everytime i watch im just waiting for Roy Munson to get up and label one!!!!

  • Can someone please tell me what the background music is? Is this by Malmsteen? Thanks...

  • @mymaze86 Fire Forming - Angel Vivaldi

  • is that your own bowling alley ???

  • is this in someones basement?

  • These videos are nothing but bowling porn. They all look the same. Show us the ball on a PBA pattern crossing over or washing out.

  • Why is it that its so hard to carry and keep the pins low on those lanes? is it the depth of the gutters or the spot of the pins or what? I've just noticed how difficult the carry is and when the 6 pin actually does slap out the 10 the ball usually deflects back into the 10

  • thanks for the info, got to get me one of these bad boys.

  • but it also says it has a pearl coverstock which is polished, so which one is it

  • @hammerhead817 Actually pearl doesn't mean polished. Pearl is an additive to the coverstock that gives it a pearlized look. The pearl helps the ball get down the lane and save energy for the backend. The Prodigy is a matte finished pearl ball. The pearl gets the Prodigy through the heads and leaves energy for the back part of the lane, while the matte finish lets the ball read the mid lane. This is how you get this long aggressive arc that that Prodigy has!

  • i know this ball says 4000 grit, but is it a shiny pearl cover or a duller smoother cover. thanks

  • @hammerhead817 arbalon means sanded.

  • @hammerhead817 its a dull cover. your welcome

  • the lighting in this video is too dark. they need better lighting or take the video into after effects and brighten it up or something...

  • well madman102792, a tweener as you should know hooks a bowling ball more than a stroker does. So a stroker wants lots of hook even on heavy oil because they want maximum pin action to carry many strikes. But any way I was just saying what I thought about the bowling ball.

  • I like it. Though the pattern is short, it is on the pretty heavy side. It's about the same characteristics as viper.

  • i hate when storm has new releases, because i always want them.

  • @BrennanSaysBowlinRox Same here

  • @sorealtaz Ohhhh yeah man. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not just a storm junkie. Heck, I want to get just about every new well-performing ball that I see. If only tht were possible! lol.

  • I really thought this ball was going to be a prodigy on the perfect scale but it is hooking a whole lot less than I thought it would. Even a tweener gets like no hook out of that thing. So what about us strokers? WHAT A LET DOWN!!!!

  • @clonewars22 just because the ball wasnt moving for a tweener doesnt mean the ball wont move for a stroker, all u have to do is get it drilled for a stroker and your set. and the reason the ball doesnt have a lot of angle is because its a symmetric core not an asymmetric core like whats in the VG and basically all high performance balls. symmetric creates a smooth rolling arc not a big angle

  • @madman102792 couldnt agree more on this one. this ball seems to be something thats gonna work very well for a benchmark ball because of it being symmetric. dont throw storm equipment at all but this stuff looks very good.

  • I think a great comparison would be to see the differences with the Second Dimension with the same surface prep on both balls to see how they differ since it is the same cover and a slightly different core...

  • I Believe it's a mix of the Hy-road and The Virtual Energy myself, just judging by the characteristics of how the ball acts.

  • @doughnutfingers Yeah that's what I thought when I saw the ball reaction too. A little stronger than the Hy-Road but not quite as strong as a Virtual Energy. Good call doughnutfingers. =) Funny name.

  • Eww kewl blueberry scent. Nice color. Looks similar to what a hy-road would do though. Something to use when the lanes break down a little bit?

  • @trueblu8 no i think its supposed to me more of an aggressive ball, not middle of the road like the hyroad

  • first :)

  • first view, first comment, first rating :D

  • @carlorowan

    confuckingratulations

  • @apinapapana i think you mean congratufuckinglations lol
