My Dad was a trucker and i didn't really know much about him as a kid, but I did know this, he loved my sister and me dearly. When I see this movie it reminds me of him and the crazy shit I used to hear he would do, naturally I became a driver, and DAM PROUD of it. I might be a trucker when I grow older, driving an 18 wheeler around the country sounds great. And I practically never sleep, so that wouldn't bother me.
@coopercrue I am a truck driver and have been for 10 years, I don't know where you heard that we don't sleep but if you do start driving a truck you'll soon realize that there is no load that is worth falling asleep at the wheel for.
@doboy340 its right what you say, i am on the road over20 years..hay from europ to all truckers, theyr kids, and all truck fans..bye the way great job with this video..
I couldnt agree more! Y'all be safe out there! I used to drive as well. I was a fourth generation driver, but had to come home to raise up my kidos! I do miss the friends I made out there, the lives who touched mine and of course the scenery! To all those who keep a huge part of my dream alive by keepin the rubber rollin...THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!!

Hi all, my dad drove a truck from the age of 14, he's 60 now so he drove all my life. every choo holidays I went with himand loved evry minte of it, never missed him when he was gone, it was just normal. Being the son of a trucker, it always annoys me when I see a commercial for a lawyer who says that "you're never at fault when a truck's involved." People like that piss me off. Another thing is ignorant people who say that America doesn't need trucks anymore or that they cause too much pollution and everything should be hauled by trains.
As the proud son of a trucker, I feel that all truckers - regardless of race - are my kin.
@AmericanPride42 You are never at fault if you're in a four wheeler and you hit a truck. Don't you know that big truck with a 53' trailer on the back of it and weighing 80,000 pounds on 5 axles is invisible? They never saw the truck therefore is the trucks fault for being there. Hit someone in a CMV and that's the first thing they'll scream is "i didn't see him". Oh lets not forget were insured and not for a piddily couple thousand like most in a four wheeler. Lawyers love that shit.
@N5VAG i was hauling a crane afew years ago, police escorts, discos dancin and all that. escort went through the light, car that was sittin there turned right in front of me, like she didn't know i was comin despite the light show comin down the road. i was in a 379. got so so close to her, i couldn't even see her in front of of me. i know what you're talkin bout.
@AmericanPride42 trucks are a legitimate business, lawyers know that. they tell people how much money they can get and after hearin this so long, it's embedded in peoples brains, ( wanna get payed, get stupid with a driver ).
@AmericanPride42 i agree i hate when im on the road and i see these lil four wheelers cutin off trucks they havent got a clue where the blind spots are one these trucks i dont drive em much as im a technician for Cummins but i definatly have more respect for drivers than the others on the road
@AmericanPride42 I was a trucker for 15 years and because of the population size in the US trucks are not going anywhere. If there was a National Strike tomorrow America would stop in it's tracks, and anyone that doesn't believe that is beyond ignorant. As far as Lawyers are concerned, they have done nothing but damage to the US with their distortion of facts and the Constitution, and so consider most of them douche Bags !!! Look at the one in the White House now and many others.
@Back2Dixie The ntsb did a study some 30yrs ago, if one third of the trucks stopped due to the lack of diesel fuel, we would have 10 days until the entire nation shut down , the first was GAS, then Hospital supplies....get the point, then canned goods, fresh meats and veggies, rubber tires(of all things) , what we do is important, i"ve been behind the wheel of (something) since 1978, I'm still driving today, because this nation still matters ,and you as "truckers" still make it happen for us all
proud wife of a trucker here and people only knew how hard it was on the truckers and their families ... thank you for the tribute ...this is also mine and dear husbands song for when he is gone ROLL ON @AmericanPride42
HI,,drove for yrs,,work inside now,,miss it,,but,,we all have got to stand togather, and soon,,,when are you all going to realise ,,they are trying to put all the small guys out,,come on,,everyone,,band togather,,or we all will be doing the high step in the street,,,think about it if you think i am nuts,
I was saved by a trucker my car broke down in a 50 below blizzard outside of trail B.C.!I had to help him chain up to get us out of there and he had a B TRAIN FULL OF IRON ORE.80'000 pounds and we were stuck.RCMP found my car and told my family I was missing.
After A million and a half miles sometimes I wonder why I still drive... Your video answered that question for me. Thank you very much. (Rest In Peace, Snowman)
I'll be the first Brother/Black american Vet ta say this, Thank you my Trucker Brothers who cared, did'nt give a crap about skin color, just the content of my soul, drive and devotion, because someone gave me an opportunity, i did keep on truckin, RIP J.R> wish I had an ol KW like the stagecoach! much lov ta my first real trainer ol Charlie Guy from dwn South AKA TRISM, Godbless ya brother, friend Vet! I miss the big road so much, my wife had Cancer, now I drive for the City closer ta home ya kn
@BigRickSharpe= Trains don't service certain places. So trucksa re needed. Those stupid hippies wouldn't survive a week without trucks hauling their organic foods and imitation milk. Their brains are all rotten. I have had family that worked with both trains and trucks. And God bless them all.

@AmericanPride42 trucks are a legitimate business, lawyers know that. they tell people how much money they can get and after hearin this so long, it's embedded in peoples brains, ( wanna get payed, get stupid with a driver ).
shoestrang2375 1 year ago
@AmericanPride42 I agree with you totally.
MOMMYDX2 1 year ago
@AmericanPride42 i agree i hate when im on the road and i see these lil four wheelers cutin off trucks they havent got a clue where the blind spots are one these trucks i dont drive em much as im a technician for Cummins but i definatly have more respect for drivers than the others on the road
jonesd5o 1 year ago
@AmericanPride42 I was a trucker for 15 years and because of the population size in the US trucks are not going anywhere. If there was a National Strike tomorrow America would stop in it's tracks, and anyone that doesn't believe that is beyond ignorant. As far as Lawyers are concerned, they have done nothing but damage to the US with their distortion of facts and the Constitution, and so consider most of them douche Bags !!! Look at the one in the White House now and many others.
Back2Dixie 1 year ago
@Back2Dixie The ntsb did a study some 30yrs ago, if one third of the trucks stopped due to the lack of diesel fuel, we would have 10 days until the entire nation shut down , the first was GAS, then Hospital supplies....get the point, then canned goods, fresh meats and veggies, rubber tires(of all things) , what we do is important, i"ve been behind the wheel of (something) since 1978, I'm still driving today, because this nation still matters ,and you as "truckers" still make it happen for us all

@BigRickSharpe= Trains don't service certain places. So trucksa re needed. Those stupid hippies wouldn't survive a week without trucks hauling their organic foods and imitation milk. Their brains are all rotten. I have had family that worked with both trains and trucks. And God bless them all.
