is it free to browse on the ovi store coz i just got a nokia what can go on ovi and its a n97 on a contract and if i go over my thing my mum will be so pissed

If you're using Wi-Fi at home or in a hotspot, it costs nothing at all to browse.

If you're using the phone's 3G internet connection then you should ask your network how much it costs to browse the internet. Ovi Store works through the internet, so it costs about the same to browse as a simple website.

Nokia themselves don't charge anything to use Ovi Store.

If you access Ovi Store through your phone's Wi-Fi/WLAN connection then it shouldn't cost anything at all.

However, if you access the internet through the mobile phone network (3G, 2G etc), you may want to check with your phone network operator to see how much they charge for internet use. Some operators will let you use the internet for a flat fee, while others will charge per megabyte of data transferred. Some have special offers too.

If you live in Sweden the easiest way to find out is to try and pay, and see what options are visible.

Remember that the SIM card has to be in the phone if you do try to pay by phone bill.

how do u buy apps or games if u dont have a credit card ?

You can also use debit cards, and in some countries you can pay through your phone bill.

I know it just says "credit card" on the instructions, but debit cards work too (for example I use a Visa Electron debit card on Ovi Store). Most banks will give all of their customers debit cards quite easily because you don't need to have a credit rating to use one.
