They're tight cuz there's about 6 chord changes in this entire song. I could teach my pet monkey to play this. I mean , you know.....if I had one. :-)
Werd to that. I always thought no one ever gave credit to Rhodes for his synth work, he ganked alot off Yellow Magic Orchestra though. Check out the live version of 'Madmen' by them, and you'll see what I mean.
The 80's were great... No doubts about these. New Order, The Cure, A-ha, Depeche Mode and many others unforgetable bands did history. That time was the best moment of pop rock music in Brazil. I am not a nostalgic person. If you see around you, You will find a great deal of boys and girls listening that 80's bands recently.
How on earth is it possible that this real liveperformance sounds so utterly amazing already?It took´em 25years to play with such confident again.He or she who posted this deserves a standing ovation for this remarkable and rare superquality recording...
Can you say digitally remastered? That's exactly what was done with this clip. It was originally recorded by a professional camera person as you can tell by the logo in the top right corner.
who's that guy at the front who can't fucking dance?? oh it's simon le bon. teaching mainland europe how to prance like tits. this is where it all started...
ah, you know i'm right. the truth hurts i know. it's ok tho, simon realised soon after this and stopped prancing like a tit. infact he had to ask to be tied to a windmill just to make sure...
lmao! I always got a kick out of his goofy, sometimes arrhythmic dancing. Too bad he doesn't do it anymore. Now he just putts around the stage with laccadaisical ennui. But I still love him! Going to see him again in Nov - front row baby! : )
From the same TV show as the "Anyone Out There" Live performance..much better quality. EXCELLENT!! Thanks for posting. A TRUE live performance too, not lip-sync'd like some many of their early TV appearances.
You can really hear the band "JAPAN" influence in this song..wow luv it.

This band was underrated then, but they can play very well.
And, old analog synth sounds good.

The video info says it's from a TV show. It's quite obvious Swedish Television has "professional camera persons".

"Måndagsbörsen"
I would like to say/think that this was the first real live mucis TV program in Sweden
with top artists from early 80´s.
SVT=Swedish Television was the producer.
The best camera/sound system to be found at that time :). A really good TV program.
Also always on Mondays(Måndag). Nice start on the weeks that period*s*
