the difference with the sound is because obviously the sith lightsaber is consumed with the dark side and the jedi lightsaber is just a normal saber

hey a friend of mine got anakin's ultimate fx lightsaber...i want to get a force fx lightsaber but after seeing his saber,i'm really dissapointed.The led lights in the blade are noticable..and it looks half as good as i expected.Does the force fx lightsaber also look like thata?

You don't know what that sound means when you turn it on without the blade??? WTF!!??? It's a short-circuit sound!!! So it's like it's sounding like the lightsaber isn't working right... hence the no blade! I think that's a very cool feature they implemented into it but I can't believe you didn't realize that.

Awesome review man,only thing im concerned about is the blade quailty,for a display purpose its ok,but when you make a little duel with a friend will it brake or not that is what im concerned about.

@wafenn12 The blades are not made to do battle, however I have had intense battles with them and from my experience they will not completely break the lightsabers. If you battle with them you will get scuffs and marks on the blade, but the blades will not snap off unless you are really trying to kill somebody with it. Battle with caution :)

Is it recommended to get a removable one or a non-removable one? Apparently the removable one feels "wiggly" sometimes. Also, does the red color look authentic? In some pics and vids the red ones look yellow/orange in the center... Thanks!

@fasokp I would recommend getting the lightsaber with the removable blade, and as long as you have the top piece of the hilt that slides over the blade screwed on tightly it should not be

"wiggly". The video distorts the awesome authentic redness of the blade, it does not look orange/yellow at all!

Hey bro. Finally someone did a review on the 2010 Darth Maul. Quick question. Does the hilt have any plastic components, or is it all made of metal parts. For example I own the Anakin 2010 removable, and the one thing i hate is the plastic part around the emitter. Id appreciate a response

@USMCMarques The hilt is made of all metal, except, obviously the black part that attaches onto the clip. Also some of the very small gadgets/light bulb looking things have a plastic feel to them. So 99.9% metal, basically.

I'd store one of those mini screwdrivers in the back of the stand. Idk why they changed that about the battery compartment. Anyway, AWESOME review. I'm pretty much SOLD on this one. I'mma see about getting this one ;D

From the video it is brighter, sound is better than the MR version or the older Force FX damaged version. I was just about to order two of these, but after seeing this video i am going to wait till the shop stock up on Maul's removable blade.

be careful with displaying ur sabers like that bud! the blades will droop after time. vertical stands are the way to go.

Hey nice review man. You said you didnt know what the compartment in the back of the stand was for, and I thought i'd tell you its for the belt clip. OK, so I own 3 FX sabers, none of which are removable blades versions. One of the 3 is a Hasbro Darth Maul. I intend to get the other half with the removable blade. My question is, can you connect the Maul none removable blade with the removable blade version? They probably use the same connector but i just wanted to make sure.
