This is an incredibly difficult song to sing and I think Alicia is not only a talented singer but also a gifted musician and I just think if I walked into a room and she was playing this on the piano and singing then I'd simply sit down and listen...nuff said.

Live lounge has produced some amazing covers. It doesnt always work so much but considering people always sing songs from genres differant from their own I think Alice keyes did a damn fine job,not perfect but you can hear she has an amazing song and numerous other singers wouldnt have taken this challenge.

I have nothing against Alicia Keys, but she just doesn't fit this song... maybe i've heard it to many time by The Fray... but props for giving it her best.
She is amazing. She has her own songs just a great though that she can always sing. Why go to the Fray's level when she's superior in sales. She's iconic soulfully.

Um, you guys need to understand that this is 100% live. Anybody else that you've heard is 99% likely been mixed. Boyce Avenue for example- their videos are mixed then audio synced back up with the video. Just saying I think some other covers may have given you guys the wrong idea.

I have nothing against Alicia Keys, but she just doesn't fit this song... maybe i've heard it to many time by The Fray... but props for giving it her best.

The comments are a tad harsh. Alicia Keys is talented vocalist and musician, just cause she this one wrong. Doesn't mean she "sucks at everything" :)

me thinks someone takes things WAY too seriously ...not gonna name any names though...I'm sure we ALL know who I'm referring too....as for the song..it wasn't horrible..she definitely went flat at one point, but it's still a great re-telling of the song.

@thatstopmotionkid Her voice has a lot of emotion and she has a very beautiful voice. She makes great music and how dare you say her voice sucks. She has a soulful, powerful, and emotive voice. She only missed one line of the lyrics. Don't hate on her.

Um, you guys need to understand that this is 100% live. Anybody else that you've heard is 99% likely been mixed. Boyce Avenue for example- their videos are mixed then audio synced back up with the video. Just saying I think some other covers may have given you guys the wrong idea.
